What happens if Ripple wins in court against the SEC?

Everyone expects Ripple to get crushed in court against the SEC, but what if they don't?

The SEC filed suit against Ripple last week alleging that they sold unregistered securities to investors.

This sent shock waves through the industry that is likely to put a chill on the altcoin market for a long time to come.

The fear is that if they could do this to Ripple and XRP, who else could they do this to?!

While Ripple was the low hanging fruit, a lot of what the SEC alleges Ripple did, many other crypto projects did as well.

HIVE is likely safe, but if a few more high profile coins get taken out, the ripple effect would bring down the prices of altcoins across the board, HIVE included.

However, what happens if Ripple/XRP wins in court?

Or, not even if they win, but what about if they reach a settlement or have some small victory in court?

Plus we have the old SEC Chairman gone and a new one already in place, what if the new administration is more friendly to the crypto space?

Basically I think we have a ton of fear already priced in, what happens if we get any kind of positive news out of this?

I'll tell you what happens, altcoins absolutely fly!

Here's to hoping we can get anything remotely positive out of this!

I don't think this is priced in at all.

Eventually this news may chill the market.

My concern is who they may come after next.

I really like your view here. do you think XRP is all cryto marked? may be the capital could run other crypto

Yep, I think that is exactly what is happening. Money leaving xrp and going into bitcoin. However, once ripple and xrp settle or win in court altcoins could really benefit. If ripple loses in court it would be bad for the altcoin market.
