The fastest lizard I've caught in the state... sat still for the photos.
I set these shots up, because I wanted a natural(ish) look to the photos. Sure, the cattle panel kind of throws it off, but the rock and cacti do look nice. I did see one of these years ago just a couple hundred yards from this location, but just like every other one I ever saw, it was too fast to capture. Thankfully, I was not only able to get my hands on this one, but it cooperated for the photos too. This is "Part 2," enjoy the shots.
Nice shots, although I was almost certain they are 5 lined skinks, or blue necked skinks. I am not sure really what they are but I have seen something that looks very similar in Mississippi.
