I hope you all are good and safe inside your homes.
As we all know about this pandemic COVID-19 outbreak due to which everyone's life be difficult. I have been self-quarantined from past 14 days and I was literally like 😩.
Back 3 days when I saw a post from @theycallmedan about an initiative "WHAT HIVE MEANS TO ME" here then I thought about making an post about it. Thanks to @theycallmedan who gave an opportunity to all of us for making a post about WHAT HIVE MEANS TO ME.
What is Hive To Me.
There was a time when I was wasting a lot of time on social media,I had no idea how to use the smart phone effectively. Thanks to my friend who gave me idea about a decentralized blockchain and introduced me to SteemIt back in 2018. Honestly, I had no idea what to do there but my friend make me understand everything what to do,how to do,etc and I worked hard on it to make my profile good and I feel proud being a member of it.
It has been almost 2 years when I joined the SteemIt and it was a great journey on it.I was doing my best to be active on SteemIt and during that time I had no idea about #Hive—a new decenetralized blockchain. After JustinSun's SteemIt hostile takeover, everyone's hope in SteemIt was just over.
When I saw the post which was the announcement from @blocktraders about shifting steemit community to another platform named as HIVE —a new decentralized blockchain. I and my friend was afraid about the end of our work on SteemIt, but it was over misunderstanding everything is perfect as we all know it was the creation of new decentralized blockchain.
I have been spending most of time on #Hive platform. I know I am not posting much articles on it but I am reading most of the articles and doing other works on it. #Hive has become more important than #SteemIt for me in just 1 week and we all members of it have showed the power of a community.
We know #Hive has been launched on 20 of this month and its value was 2x of Steem. Even when Hive Dollar was launched, its value was also greater than SBD. So from that we can expect Hive as the future of decentralized blockchain. I hope it will be a great platform for everyone and will allow everyone to talk not like JustinSun's controlled #SteemIt platform. Which is now suppressing the voice of members against it, but I hope everything will be better and JustinSun will let everyone talk their thoughts without censoring. Anyways that is a different topic, #Hive has now become a part of my life and I will do my best to give valuable posts on it.
What I want to Evolve in Hive.
In these 2 years on SteemIt, I have seen a lot of things happening there. We all know what happened to SteemIt. The reason behind it was not proper ideology of its CEO.
Here we know Hive does not have any CEO which means it is not controlled by a single person, so it has more chance of becoming a great decentralized platform. I want Hive to be a community as it is and let its members speak uninterruptedly or censorship. #HiveisAlive.
One more thing which I saw in SteemIt in these 2 years was when a new member joined it, he has to struggle for a lot of time untill someone will look yo his post despite his posts where of quality content or not. Even I saw some posts which were not quality posts but still they were getting more rewards than the quality posts by new member. It was due to their relationship with big member of the community. Due to these reasons, many of the new members lost their interest into it and they left posting on it. Even I bring someof my friends to it but they left it early because of this reason.
So my humble request to all #Hive big members is to see everyone's post and give more importance to new members rather than old members.This will help the community to become more popular and more members will join the community.
I want to see more and more dapps in hive. I had no idea how dapps are gonna boost a platform like Hive or SteemIt but after asking my friend how will it help I came to know how important are these. So I want to see more and more dapps in hive. As most of the dapps of SteemIt has already shifted to Hive which will also help it to become more popular.
What does Hive mean to me
As I already said above Hive has been an important part of my life since its launch. Before it Hive was for me was just a bunch of bees on a tree branch. Now Hive has became my home with no censorship, no suppressing of voice, no leadership but just a community where I can talk about anything whatever I want. Not only for but for everyone.
I feel Hive like:
- A new decentralized blockchain platform.
- A new home to speak about anything.
- A new independent platform where everyone can post without having a fair of censoring their posts like #SteemIt.
- A future of successful decentralized blockchain.
Honestly,Yes, I feel Hive as my new home to talk about anything without being interrupted, censoring my posts and a new united community.
