Centralization is a system in which power or governance is given to a particular person or group of persons. While in a decentralized systems power is shared to every in accordance and not restricted to a person or group of persons in an organization.
I am a Democrat that loves the democracy because I do believe that power should be given to the people.
Decentralization to me means democracy. It's the freedom to all. It creates a way for better, easier and quick decision making as different ideas are put in place to get the best knowledge of something and make a good decision.
In decentralization, there is the dispersion of authority as everyone in the system got something to say or do for the growth and development of the system. No one is into slavery under a person's power as everyone's will is being taken and none is locked out.
Decentralization is important and something that should be encouraged because it supports the fundamental human right of everyone which is the freedom to be heard and the most especially freedom of being free
Blockchain And Decentralization
If you ask me what I love most about blockchain then it being decentralized is something I will first mention.
Blockchain being an organize system shows transactions of cryptocurrency and any form of transaction carried out that can't be influenced by a third party, the information cannot be manipulated or modified. It means your information and doings are secured. In higher institution, here in Nigeria blockchain was used to conduct the student Union government election to allow a fair running electoral system.
Steemit was one of the fair running decentralized system I have known and that's why I fell in love in Steemit. But since the emergence of a hostile I can't really say much of it being decentralized because implementing steem under TRON blockchain without the approval a and will of the people is simply centralizing blockchain from the decentralization it was made to be
That's why I am grateful for the witnesses here and all the brilliant minds that create a hive for the rescue of every steemian and Steem holders.
The fundamental building blocks of Blockchain
The fundamental building block is what a system needs or requires to make it essential and possible.
To me the fundamental building block of blockchain are:
- TRANSPARENCY: A blockchain ought to be easy to understand. It's activities and organization ought to be known and visible to all with no hideous sidelines. The activities it runs should be explainable
- SECURED: When I define blockchain earlier I said it's a system that can't be altered by anyone meaning whatsoever transaction you made in the blockchain can't be manipulated by a third party or even by you. It's a good way to save your files and funds as they can be no deletion or transfer as the system can't be hacked unless you put your keys into untrusted sources or persons.
- IMMUTABILITY: Whatever you put into a blockchain remains there over a long period of time and can't be changed. On steemit once you published an article such article is being duplicated in various secured chains like the tribes website/interface provided you use their tag.
In conclusion, I love decentralization because it creates a system for all and not limited to anyone.
Decentralization and blockchain have given me that self-power to create, make decisions and do my own will without any form of government influence or a given authority.
