Food is any edible substance taken into the body that gives nutrient. Back then in my High School, I was taught that foods are classified according to their nutrient e.g. Carbohydrate (energy giving foods), protein (bodybuilding foods) etc.
In our everyday lives, we eat different food from different sources. People say we eat meals three times daily, normally, but I can eat over five times daily bit by bit though. Food is very important to human life. There is a saying that ‘water is life’ but the food is strength. Every human needs to eat good food, but in the world we are today, poverty has made it that many people can hardly get what to eat and this will make them malnourished or probably worse. Food is very essential to the body because it nourishes the system a lot. Especially when you eat the one you feel like eating at that time. There is one feeling you get when you eat what you feel like eating, it makes you so full and satisfied.
Before going down to my favourite meal, I have a general question for you guys. How do you feel when you see your favourite food? For me, I feel I own this world. This isn’t a bold claim. Try to offend me in a time like this and I will never be angry. Even if you slap me, I will dance to the sound of the food. Do you guys know food has sounded better than beat from DJ Khaled? I bet you need to be a little focus when you see your favourite meal. Do not call me a foodie.
FAVORITE FOOD
Now everybody has one food that they enjoy the most, the one that you can eat all day. Personally, my favourite food is noodles and egg. That is one food I like the most, as for the noodles my best brand is the Indomie noodles and egg (chicken eggs to be precised). And guess what I started liking this meal since my infant, my mum always prepares it for me and I grew to like it. The ingredients for cooking this meal is not much depending on the way you want it and is also fast food.
PREPARATION
Now to prepare this delicious meal of mine you just need: your pack of noodles, eggs, onions, carrot, peas and fresh chili pepper.
Firstly:
- You put your water on the cooker to boil for 2 minutes.
- Then you cut your onion, carrot, peas and pepper, then boil your eggs.
- Put your noodles and the seasoning into the boiling water and stir occasionally.
- Then you add your already cut onions and pepper to the noodles.
- When the water is almost dried you pour your carrot and peas, then stir.
- Then allow steaming for a while and boom! Your noodles are ready.
Oh!!! now I’m feeling hungry even when I had just finished eating. So that’s all the procedure for preparing my best meal. It’s not too stressful. I love this delicacy so much; it doesn’t have many nutrients, but the noodles itself is rich in vitamin A, B, calcium, protein and carbohydrate. And the egg itself is also very rich in protein. I don’t enjoy sharing this kind of food with people because it is not always enough. But the last time I tried sharing this meal with someone, it didn’t work out well.
On a fateful day after I had prepared this meal ready to pounce on it then one of my friend in my department said she wanted to have a taste, in this kind of situation if I said no it would sound stingy, so I shared with her reluctantly. I didn’t even take up to five spoons, and before I could say jeez she finished the meal so annoying, but I pretended to be happy and satisfied imagine that feeling. But don’t be stingy like me though.
