Hello everyone, Happy Weekend...
Life is unpredictable and full of uncertainty, we have no idea what is waiting for us. In fact, I don't know what is waiting for me after a few minutes, maybe after some hours or tomorrow. No idea...
Before this corona situation, my life was completely normal, I was waiting for my family and dearest one to come here, was busy rearranging my stuff, no financial crisis and everything was smooth.
But suddenly...Everything has just changed...
Thanks to @theycallmedan for taking this initiative. If you haven't check it yet you should check now and write your own quarantine story.
What is your coronavirus story; how has it affected you? (your life, financially, health or otherwise)
Many of you might already know that I am a fresh post-graduate student. Recently, I have completed my master's and looking for a job. Because 2020 is a turning point of my life where I have to concentrate on my career but Corona changed everything. I won't say it changed, I guess it paused my plan from implementation.
Student life is hard and you have to lead a budget life and savings are limited. So, if I talk about the financial condition, then yes, it affected me and still affecting me.
Basically, I don't take help from my dad but in this condition, I needed help but all the ways of sending money was off. Because from Bangladesh to Ukraine there is no way to send money directly to Ukraine, you have to use third party and unfortunately, no-one is available due to a lockdown situation.
I am managing my life but this financial crisis is hard to balance because now the future is uncertain. That's why finally I am learning crypto trade so that I can overcome this situation.
Right now, the only way that can help me is crypto (digital money).
Have you or someone you know been effected with the coronavirus, how are they now, what was it like for them?
I am very happy to see that my family and friends are all healthy and still fit and fine. They are taking proper precautions and leading their lockdown or quarantined life. That's is the best thing of my life that everyone is safe so far, no-one is affected by the CoronaVirus till now.
But the condition of Ukraine is not so good, 356 people are infected by this pandemic virus and the death rate is 9 unfortunately. Among infected people only 5 people recovered. Ukraine government extended the quarantine period until April 24. All public transportations are shut down, only a few buses available to move from here and there but the domestic transportation is completely off.
Everything here is shut down except supermarkets, banks, exchanges, pharmacies, hospitals and gas stations. Air travel and borders are already closed from 15th March.
Have you used this time to strengthen bonds with loved ones, do you feel you'll come out of this a better person?
As I live alone into this big city so my social bonding is all about using different social media. Yes, the relationship between me and dad is better more than before. We talk on phone almost 3-4 times per day. Also, chat with my sister every single day (nowadays it's easy to find her online because she is stuck at home ;) ).
Also, I talk to my best friend, my friends and connected with them almost daily. We laugh, discuss many things, in fact, do some challenges together to spend our time.
All, I can say despite of living separated from everyone, still, we are close and bondings are getting stronger day by day.
Do I feel, I will come out of this a better person?? I can't say that but of course, I can feel the good changes inside me.
Do you have any photos/videos to share of where you're hunkering down? Show us how you spend your 24 hours as a prisoner
I am enjoying my prisoner life...
Trust me I am enjoying my prisoner life because of so many reasons. This is another experience for me and I think it's a chance to focus on myself. I am leading a self-quarantine life and not fully locked down.
As you can see Kharkiv city is not dead yet, people are still moving, private cars are still on the street. The morning I went to the city center for documents work and I saw this situation. Not bad actually, yes, it's calm, quiet but not dead.
I live in this residential area which is outside of the city center, 20 minutes drive but beautiful. You rarely find people into this area but to be honest this is one of the big and populated residential areas in Kharkiv. I love living in this area though it is not cheap at all. Because of corona people rarely move here, only cars and you will see some people near supermarkets and banks.
I am utilizing my time learning the Russian language because I am not good at it and this is the chance for me. Also, I use an app to learn it and try to practice it though it's hard to learn a new language but I am improving a lot.
I started practicing perspective drawing and architectural Softwares as well. No matter what is happening or going to happen, I can't live without my passion. It's in my blood. I just need some practice which I am doing now.
Every day I go out for 20-30 minutes to walk because of the doctor's recommendation. I think I am lucky that I live in a nice environment where I can walk easily and not to go far away. My complex area is so big that I can spend 30 mins easily walking and observing there.
I spend most of my time listening to music and I love to listen to music, this is just a random playlist, I have more :P...
I also love to edit pictures and spend my time into it, kinda practicing and learning new tools.
Also, I watch movies and series as well, youtube was always my preference but now I have added Netflix into my list.
I am not a good cook in fact I eat and cook for survival. I personally don't like cooking because after cooking, I hate to wash all the dishes... :( But now I have time so I cook food, not fancy, just normal easy regular recipe which I eat. I Was thinking to try some new recipes, let's see...
It's not like I don't feel bored or alone or mentally sick, whenever I feel low, I try to motivate myself and keep myself busy into different activities. I am spending much more time on social media engaging with people, scrolling Instagram, twitter, interact with people. I work on blog posts, take pictures, edit them.
I always try to connect with people over the phone by managing social distance. I am maintaining social distance as much as possible because I can't take the risk but sometimes I am bound to go to the markets or some urgent works.
I think this is the best time to focus on yourself and get more attach to your family friends and show them love and support.
Because there is always something positive into the negative stuff...
Love
