Today was the sweet day for me...

I am not a pastry chef or dessert queen, in fact, I can't bake any single cake properly except pizza. I tried to bake the cake and most of the time it turns out a disaster. I tried to prepare pastries and pies but no luck. I tried to cook traditional sweet dishes and the taste was average. I won't say I can't make dessert, I will say I am not very dedicated to making dessert. Most of the time, if I want something sweet, I just go out and buy something. On the other hand, I don't have proper crockeries and tools for dessert honestly speaking and I don't have an oven as well. I am that type of girl who makes chocolate lava cake in a mug...

So you got my point I think. I am more interested in tasting rather than making desserts. I make traditional desserts sometimes but it's rare. I learned a few dishes from youtube and from a recipe book but I rarely cook them for me. But one thing I always try to make and it's Custard because I love it a lot...

I was craving sweets so I decided to go out...

We have different types of sweet shops here but you have to know the location. For example, if you want to taste Gulab Jamun & Jilebi (Indian & Bangladeshi Sweet) you have to go to Indian restaurants or shops. Some Indian shops sell all types of sweets like Barfi, Laddu, Gulabjamun, Jilebi, etc but you have to order them before. They are not available instantly always. On the other hand, Turkish sweets, Arabian sweets are available here. You just have to find the shop and have to order them for instant purchase.

Here every superstore has a dessert zone where you can purchase your desire desserts. Mostly cakes and pastries and tiramisu. Ukrainian people eat tiramisu and cakes a lot. Also, they have some traditional sweets but I can't remember their name...

So, I decided to buy sweets from the nearest superstore.

Here is also some other instant readymade food picture, if you are hungry and don't wanna cook, you can buy food from here. They have different types of salads, greens, proteins, bbq, rice, and cutlets. When I feel lazy and don't wanna cook, I just buy foods from here... Price is reasonable...

Now dessert time...

I have spent 20 minutes finding my desire dessert but I couldn't. I wanted a special tiramisu and red velvet cake which was not available at that moment. My bad luck...They had all the cakes and tiramisu except those...

Anyway, later I ended up buying this layered strawberry cheesecake flavored Icecream. It looks like a cake but it is actually ice cream and I really like this combo...

Festivals, holidays like Eid are incomplete without sweet dishes but bachelor life is different so it's okay. I know it sounds awkward or weird in fact many of you might say why I didn't make traditional dessert by myself...

All I want to say that everything is not possible always and sometimes we have to adjust to the situation...

Because this is life and this is reality...Compromise or sacrifice in the situation...
