I cannot recognize my CITY.....

Since this hazardous situation evolved over the past few days, the situation of ours have changed drastically. We have been caged with restrictions and situation is getting worse everyday. By saying that, I would like to say I am not recognizing my city. I suppose many of you might say that as well. Giving the current circumstances, there is no doubt the situation which is happening to my city is already happening with many of yours.

Is it My City?

I have never seen my city in this way. It has changed its course, it is dry, as if it is lonesome. Whatever the situation may be in the past, the city was awake 24/7 but a single virus have changed it all. Such an irony of life!

Even though not all the activities are shut down but only the needed services such as medication, transport for emergency, food stores and some other important activities were told to remain open in this hard time of lock down. Apart from the medication almost all the activities are told to be shut down after a certain time of the day. Which is why the whole city is almost dead after the evening.

The good old days of hanging around with friends and even in the evening walking by thyself it is missed by me. Although I can still go out for a walk by taking all the precautions but as of now it seems more like going to a war, wearing all the safety protections rather than feeling like a evening walk. Instead of that I would rather stay at my home.

Taking a walk and having some snacks with friends and chit chat for a while it has become like a so called for many of us. I must admit I felt somehow lucky to be among that generation which saw the era of changing technology from analogue to digital. So many inventions have been created but even so as of this moment I might have been thinking otherwise.

Time changes for us all very much easily. All this boasting of money and power seems to be stopped by a simple virus which can not even be seen by naked eyes. What an irony indeed! While I hope soon we can get back to our daily life and make things right which are due right now. As even though bad things are happening we need to move on with our lives and do the right thing for the time being. Stay Safe everyone!
