Today i finished the fourth day of my Remotasks training and tomorrow will be the last day. Today was a critical day in our training as it was the first day of taking live tasks. Before today, all our tasks where dummy tasks but today, we were giving live tasks which we can earn for. When it comes to Remotasks, you can't start earning from it or participate in live tasks when you have not completed the courses or training. When you graduate from each course, you unlock areas of the site that begins to contain live tasks related to the course you have completed.
The Remotasks training has been interesting because i am learning of a technologies that i did not know exist. I did not know how seriously the world is taking artificial intelligence. I did not know either of self driving cars. I also did not know of the direct relationship between the intelligence of humans and that of AI. Remotasks trains us to train AI, which they use to control their self driving cars.
During my short break, i rushed to shop and when i returned that i came across this publication (
https://steemit.com/the1000daysofsteem/@steemitblog/1000-days-of-steem-day-9-the-shopping-game-and-lucky-10s-doubling-up-for-the-rest-of-july
)
and decided to participate even though i wasn't able to take pictures of the stores from which i shopped. It was actually a market with small stalls, located in Manila Philippines. I shopped food stuffs for a day's meal and the highlight of this meal was the vegetables.
Here are a few pictures i took of my shopping when i arrived home;
I don't have receipts to show. I was only able to buy one item from a Pure Gold store here and i discarded the receipt. Things are very expensive during this period. For the few food items that you see in the picture, almost 1000 pesos was spent.
Here is what i bought and their prices;
Green veggies - 180 PHP
Onion - 30 PHP
Ginger - 20 PHP
Tomato - 30 PHP
Chilli - 40 PHP
Flour - 120 PHP
Ground pepper - 20 PHP
Garlic - 10 PHP
Crayfish - 20 PHP
Goat skin - 300 PHP
Dry fish - 40 PHP
Beef - 110 PHP
Oil - 30 PHP
Transportation - 130 PHP
Total was 1080 PHP which is around 20 SBD
Would have been nice if you converted the pesos to SBD or Steem and if you gave detailed prices of the different items you purchased even without receipts. In Cameroon, 90% of shops don't give receipts
