Hi Everyone,
Not sure how to write this post .... maybe I'll do it freestyle .....
I've got mixed feelings tonight. This post will be the one before Hive starts and which also means a new journey like many of us. I would never think the result will end up like this. When JS bought Steemit, it was probably at that time a better option than having Ned run the show. But turned out it was more stressful for everyone than it should have.
I started my blogging road on Steemit and honestly don't want it to turn out the way it has, communities split, disagreements, censoring and whatever else I've missed. TBH, the last month haven't been easy in my normal life so I haven't really been saying too much about this whole thing as I am sure I probably have missed some facts/points along the way. I try to catch up as much as possible on discords, blog posts and wechat and TBH, I've been disappointed with some comments.
I couldn't find a nice cover picture of myself for this post (I look terrible with little sleep recently), so maybe I'll use the cute cartoon one @skyleap drew of me awhile ago ....

@travelgirl I have mixed feelings too but I am an optimist and just hope for the best. Hive is a great chance to start over and create something even better than Steem 😁

Same here. But things have been too far now and Hive might fix the bad start the Steem had.
Most of us are still here because of the connections we have with other users not because of the name of the blockchain.
The development of Steem blockchain and the Condenser were centralised, they are both now decentralised. Not perfect yet but as we learn we will make it better.

i really have to think each time anyone is reffering to JS, because my brain thinks and thinks "why is he/she talking about javascript now?" until i move on and read the full stentence with context XD
