Having a bad day in this lockdown.

Just when I thought I was having a nice day is when this expensive mistake of using the wrong memo while sending funds to an exchange account happened. I can't believe this. This is not the first time I would make a transfer on my steem account. I've been doing this for over 3 years. And in all those three years of hitting the send button, I always make sure I scrutinize the address receiving funds from me and the appropriate memo needed.

Yesterday being Easter, I was indoors all through cause of the lockdown order in my region and in that period of easter celebration I won some 200 steem in neoxian city from Mr. dragon known as neoxian, the founding father. To be frank, I didn't believe I would win it because the fate of taking the prize was left in the hands of a giveaway bot to randomly select a winner.

Now, given the financial hiccups caused by this pandemic and the compulsory stay at home order. I was planning to use this prize to restock some exhausted essentials in the house tomorrow and now this issue of using the wrong memo for huobi-pro exchange just tampered with my expectations.

The huobi customer account for the memo is an escrow guy that gives me reasonable rates for my steem tokens than the famous OLAMAX.IO exchange I normally use. It is a DM deal, peer to peer deal with an honest trader. I started dealing with him as of recent.

I can't believe I made this kind of mistake in these hard times. The trader shared his concern that huobi support is kind of strict in issues like this unlike binance. I have done the needful though. I have provided all the details he would need to lodge a complaint. I will stay optimistic about this issue and hope their support team remedy the situation with no unnecessary demands.

What has gotten me worried is his remark about their support team. If there is anyone out there who has experience with huobi-pro support and knows how to get their support team to fix issues like this asap. Please kindly drop your recommendation in the comment section. Thank you.
