Recently we went for a bicycle ride into an early-autumn forest.
The forest is located in the Sokolyi Mountains near to Samara, Russia. There are lots of peaks such as the Lysaya Mount, Mount Barsuk, Tip-Tyav, and others.
A beautiful view opens from the Barsuk mount.
The Samara city is far in the background.
The isle Zelyonenky is right under the mount in the middle of the Volga river.
The living autumnal forest is very colorful.
The female Sympetrum sanguineum dragonfly.
We ate on the mount, then headed back home.
These are berries of the lily of the valley, which are poisonous!
On our way, we noticed bushes of hazelnut.
And lots of nuts just lied on the ground.
We could not skip them and collected a bag full of hazelnuts.
We also found mushrooms. The cooked Suillus fungi were very tasty!
Do you personally like collecting mushrooms, edible stuff in a forest?
And that's it for today, Steemians!
