Hello there steemit friends! Today I'm gonna share with you a short review of a filipino food restaurant here in our place.
Kuya J Restaurant is a casual and easygoing vibe makes it the perfect dining place to enjoy home-cooked Filipino food. It also offers great Filipino gastronomic delights using quality and unique tasting dishes in a homey.
I’ve always wanted to try out Kuya J Restaurant since I first saw a well known Philippine male celebrity Jericho Rosales ads. Not that I’m a fan of Jericho, but I’ve always been a fan of roasted chicken and I saw that they have it in their menu.
My family and I love Kuya J as well. We like that it has Filipino menu that the boys are familiar with, makes ordering a lot easier. Love as well that the food is affordable yet sumptuous and big serving. We do enjoy the food at Kuya J’s because it is not that pricey and so far, haven’t encountered any mishaps nor bad food experience. I’ve only been to two branches though (Lapu-lapu City and SM City Cebu Branch).
Branding-wise, the restaurant does a great job in communicating an image that is warm and welcoming.
Ambiance
- The restaurant can cater up to 100 guests. It has a family vibe to it, with large round tables and wide long tables. It is also well lit and ventilated.Food Experience
- the food was served after 15 minutes. The food was good, will probably come back here but we'll try another branch.We left full. We availed their 50% OFF Family Salo-salo for only Php1,140 for 3 person (approx.)

Our verdict
All in all, the experience was above average (the roasted chicken). The staff seemed nice and the atmosphere was pleasant. It’s definitely a family restaurant.
The service is fast and efficient; all the food was delivered within a reasonable time and all our requests were promptly fulfilled. The prices could still be improved though.
Kuya J restaurant Lapu-lapu City Branch is Located at Island Central Mall Mactan near Mactan International Airport, Ibo Lapu-Lapu City Cebu.
