About 10 years ago, a cousin and I were at the table talking and eating, and he said "Jonny, let's go to the United States."

my reaction:
was! to the United States but how?
We are 18, we do not have a visa or money!

So he said, let's take an oath here at the table today, since we are eating this "RICE IN THE SNOW", I DIED LAUGHING, literally. I say: hahaha, RICE IN THE SNOW?
PS yes, look it is just rice with butter, and grated cheese on top and it defines our poverty, and if instead of complaining about being POOR, we eat rice in the snow until we can meet and go to the USA, then when we have the ticket we leave to eat that out of necessity and we eat it on a whim!

And what he answered, it seems to me the best idea I have heard in my whole life! from that day we took the oath to support each other, to achieve that goal ...

We agreed that the first to obtain the visa would leave and between the two of us we would collect the money ...

Thanks to that oath, I managed to reach the United States, I have not obtained a visa yet, and I am waiting for my interview!
