Chocolate cake

Hi everyone,
Greetings from Kenya.
Today I wanted to share my chocolate cake recipe.
Ingredients

  1. 2 cups sifted white flour
  2. 1 cup unsweetened cocoa powder
  3. 2 egg yolks and 2 large eggs
  4. 1/2 cup unflavoured veg oil
  5. 1 cup Warm milk
  6. Half cup brown sugar
  7. Half cup white sugar
  8. 1 table spoon salt
  9. 1 teaspoon baking soda
  10. 1 teaspoon baking powder
  11. 2 tablespoons vanilla extract

Method:
In a bowl, combine sifted flour, cocoa powder, baking soda and powder, salt, brown and white sugar. Mix well and set aside.

In a separate bowl, put in the 2 egg yolks and beat together thoroughly. Slowly add the vegtable oil and continue to whisk.
Next, add the 2 eggs whisk again and add the vanilla extract.
When this is ready, pour into the flour mixture whisk together.
Add in the warm. Milk slowly as you whisk.

Grease your baking tin with oil of choice, I used margarine.
You can also use the baking paper to line and pour tge cake mixture.

Preheat the oven to 450 degrees and bake for 30 mins or until you insert a tooth pock and it comes out clean.

Example: Ingredients

Instead of listing the materials you use as 1-2-3 .... 11, you can use the "*" sign.

Sample :

  • 2 cups sifted white flour
  • 1 cup unsweetened cocoa powder
