Hello everyone, specially here in steemfoods community.. Praying that all are in good health always.. despite of the pandemic we are still facing today, we should learn to be thankful that we still have something to eat, and thanks God for this gift of life...
Today I wanna share with you the foods that we ate for today..
It's 3rd day of December 2021 and we had a very cold morning here in the Philippines.
So I decided to cook a champorado or chocolate rice porridge for our breakfast.
Since, we have a leftover rice from our dinner last night, I used it for my champorado.
So, let's see how I made it....
From a Leftover Rice to Chocolate Rice Porridge
BREAKFAST
"CHAMPORADO / CHOCOLATE RICE PORRIDGE"
THE INGREDIENTS:
THE PROCEDURE:
• Add 4 cups of water or as needed to a leftover rice in a pot
• Boil it with constant stirring to have evenly mixture
• cook until it will become soft and tender
• add the sugar
• add the cocoa powder and mix it thoroughly
• serve it in a bowl and add the evaporated milk
• best serve while hot..😊
LUNCH
I cooked Fried Danggit Fish for lunch, the procedure is just as simple as frying but I will show you how I cleaned the fish. By the way Danggit Fish was known in our place. It's a very delicious , actually boneless dried Dangit is one of our famous delicacy here in Cebu, Philippines.
The Ingredients:
The main ingredient is the Danggit off course, and we only need cooking oil and seasonings.
The procedure:
• By using a scissor, I removed the it's gills and the intestines.
• Then, wash it..
• Season it with salt and magic sarap
• On a hot pan with oil fried each Danggit
• Then serve..
And our neighbor gave us food for lunch since it's her birthday today..
It is usual for us as neighbors to share what we cook for birthday or any celebration to one another. They gave us Pancit and Lumpia and a grilled pork.
DINNER
In our dinner I prepare, chicken soup a Filipino style

The ingredients:
PROCEDURE FOR COOKING:
• Saute onion, garlic and ginger
• Add the chicken and mix
• Cooked for about 10 minutes
• Add water
• Add the lemon grass
• Add the papaya
• cooked for another 10 minutes
• Season it with salt and magic sarap seasoning
• Add the moringa leaves
• Then serve..
That ends my cooking day for today..Hope you like it..God bless us all.
