This contest is really interesting and will really push you to go to a place where there are street foods 😂. When the pandemic came, I seldom go out or even strolling outside the house. I am on a work from home set up since march 2020 that's why I only go out for important errands.

Street foods are very popular for us Filipinos and they are the most fast-selling foods in the town. Aside from being affordable, they are also really tasty. They can be seen anywhere especially in a crowded place like Colon in Cebu City. But during this crisis, they can be seen sometimes only on weekends or some hide in a peaceful place for them not to be arrested by the policemen. We all know that pandemic really affected many people lives so each person has to find ways to survive.

My pictures were taken outside the Cebu City Sports Complex earlier when we had our jogging. We don't always go there because it's far and waste of money for entrance fee and jeepney fare, but that place is really the best place for jogging and walking that's why we sometimes visit the place.

This vendor is always present everytime we go in the jog place, we always buy Tempura and fishball before we get inside the oval but we cannot reach the free cucumber and her sales almost sold. We get there by 6pm because my my work ends at 5pm plus travel time.

This vendor sells Tempura, fishball, hotdog and kwek-kwek(quail egg with flour and coloring).

• The tempura and kwek-kwek cost 4pcs for P20.00 or $.40.
• The fishball is 1.00 each or $.02.
• The hotdog costs P15.00 each(big) or $.30.
  Overall with this streetfood, it's 10/10.

This vendor sells beside the Tempura Cart. The young coconut is very nutritious especially it's water, some people bought for water only, they don't get the knuckle flesh. Opposite with mine, I am very greedy with the knuckle flesh because I make it a buko salad 😊😋.

He sells young coconut, when someone buys it, he cracks the knuckle and separate the flesh and the water.

• This cost P35.00 each or $.70.
  Overall 10/10 🤗

The last vendor sells different foods like boiled egg, banana, water, soda, biscuits, candies and many more. This might be her daily income for her family. She is still located outside the Cebu City Sports Complex. Whenever the joggers feel hungry, this store is the nearest one to buy something to eat.

• The boiled egg and Banana cost P12.00 each or $.24.
• The water 500ml is P15.00 or $.30 and the big one 1000ml is P25.00 or $.50.
• Candy costs P1.00 each or $.02.
• Soda costs P15.00 each or $.30.
• Biscuit costs P7.00 each or $.14.
  Overall is 10/10.

It's so sad to know that covid cases in our town increased again, this will affect surely again to those street vendors. When Cebu City Sports Complex closes because of the increasing number of covid, no one will buy them and that they will also be prohibited in selling in the street.😥
