KAYE'S COOKING DIARY!

😊😍

Today, I will be sharing to you guys one of my mother's specialty, the oh so yummy ... STUFFED EGG.

So what are we waiting for? Let's start cooking! 😍

INGREDIENTS

1/2kl or 3/4kl. Ground Pork
16pcs Egg (medium size)
1/4cup Butter/Oil
1/4kl. Oil
2pcs. Onion (minced)
1pc. Garlic
2-3tbsp. Soy sauce
1tsp. Brown sugar
Salt and Pepper to taste

COOKING TIME

1st Step: Preparing the Eggs

Get 15pcs of eggs and put in inside a casserole. Fill in the water and make sure your eggs are below the water level . Cook it for about 15-30 mins in a medium heat.

Once it's done, transfer the eggs in a bowl and rinse with water to make the cooking process stop. Pell the shell of the egg. Set aside.

2nd Step: Prepare the filling

Prepare the pan and set to medium heat. Add 1/4cup of oil, saute the onions and add garlic. Add the ground pork and simmer it for about 2-3mins. Add soy sauce, salt, pepper and brown sugar. Always taste your food so that you can adjust the taste base on you own pallette.

You can see there's excess oil but don't worry, it will help to bind the filling later. Transfer it to a bowl and set a side.

3rd Step: Breaking the eggs the way your ex breaks your heart 😜

Get the egg, gently slice it vertically into half. Get the yolk ang put it in a bowl, put the white part of the egg in separate bowl.

Repeat the process until all the eggs are done.

4th Step: Smash that Yolk 😉

Get the bowl that contains the yolk and smash it using a spatula or a spoon until there is no big yolk in the bowl.

5th Step: Mix it Well

Combine the ground pork and the yolk. Add gradually the ground pork into the yolk. Do not transfer it directly because you might not need all those oil in the pork.

6th Step: Modding for the better 😊

Using you hand (make sure that your hands are clean), get a piece of the egg white,

put the ground pork mixture at the top as shown in the picture. Once the filling is done, set aside.

7th Step: Beat the last egg

Remember the egg that was left behind? It's the time to make it shine 🤣✌️In a small bowl, whisk it. 😊

8th Step: The moment of truth

Get a pan put it on a medium heat. Add 1-2 cups of oil. Get the egg mixture, deep the mixture in the beaten egg (please see picture).

Put it inside the pan downwards, once it changes to golden brown you have to remove it from the heat. Make sure to drain excess oil in it.
