Peppers
Few things in our culinary adventure ever brings us as much painful delight as these adorable fruits. What is your story with peppers? I'm sure you certainly have a story to tell. Honestly, I do too and I'll be telling you a personal encounter with this "wonderfruit" delight called pepper I won't forget. I will also share a few things I hope you'll be excited to know about peppers.
Before then, thanks a bunch for stopping by to read my post. I'm pretty excited to be here in this community. I hope to get better acquainted with everyone here and of course, if there are any special guidelines, I look forward to receiving them from the MODs. One love! ❤️
My Unforgettable Encounter with Pepper 😂
I was still a kid, and here in my locality, we grind pepper using mortar and pestle. As a child getting used to the routine in the kitchen, I was totally unaware of how errant pepper seeds could be when they are being pounded. So eager to finish off and run back to play, or maybe too eager to finish so the food would be cooked in time, I pounded with too much excitement. Then, piah! An errant seed jumped straight into my eye. I can literally feel the pain as it was back then each time I recall this incident. But here is what made the whole episode interesting. While I was wailing at the top of my voice, my mother, who seemed to have known the ways of pepper, came along with a pinch of salt, instructed me to open my mouth which I did and she placed some salt on my tongue. Tadah! My teary eyes felt peace and the wild burning from the pepper seed abated almost instantly. I hope this works for you next time Mr pepper visits your eye. 😂 It saved me on that day.
And here are two other tricks to try if pepper becomes hostile and tries to ruin your moment.
- If you handled pepper with your bare hands and it begins to hurt with it's trademark burning sensation, rinse the hand with Coca cola or any other cola drink.
- If there's too much pepper in a meal, or you just felt like taking a bite off the attractive fruit while it's fresh, just drink a glass of milk to soothe your tongue and mouth, it works instantly.

@daytona475 @steemcurator09 It's almost 24hrs and you're yet to respond to my questions regarding your comment on my post. I hope @steemcurator01 and @steemitblog call you to order if not next time I see you around my post I'll use pepper spray on your face.
I may not have graduated from the newcomer's community but from the few achievement tasks I have completed, I have not seen where it is said that taking one's rewards from Steemit is a crime. I stand to be corrected @inspiracion @cryptokannon 🤷
As for @steemfoods community, it's a shame a guest to your community is treated to such a hostile reception and your moderators haven't said anything till now. You see it's not as though you invited me, I came on my own because I love talking about food and health. But I hope this your silence is golden and not symptom of starvation of ideas. So, let me also "golden my silence" and forever hold my "piece"
Maybe it's high time the Steemit team considered achievement programmes for those they give out the keys of these curation accounts for curation, methinks!
Ciao!

Hello @nsisong99
One of the requirements to receive support from curator accounts is not to be in power down.
To be aware of the news you must follow the @steemitblog account.
The Newcomers program teaches you basic principles, but for more information, we always recommend following the Steemitblog posts, there you can find out all the news and rules of curator accounts.
Greetings to you.

So if a post doesn't meet the requirements for steemcurator01-09 support won't it be more responsible to move on to other posts? Must the steemian be heckled for a legitimate power down?
I take exception to that please, educate your curators properly.

What happens is that the power down is something negative and contrary to what is encouraged in Steemit. Don't feel bad, this is nothing personal. The curator is just following rules. If you understand it like that, you will be able to understand the situation.

I understand the point you're making. I know that Steemit team encourage power ups that's why I have never powered down, always up 100%. But you'll notice I powered down everything even though it's very small except what I delegated to a community. So my opinion is that the curators don't need to rub it on the person's face that he's powering 2 cents down as if it's a bank heist. It would have been more polite to observe and move away.
All the same I appreciate your time and comments and encouraging upvote. I want to believe the post is educative after all, isn't it?
Steemit is for learning, besides earning. That's my thought each time I'm making a post.
Thanks all the same @inspiracion
