What a tasty meal!
This is the last part of this series. It was a nice surprise to have our friends drop us off some trout. Even better was that the Little-Peppers got some more experience at cleaning fish, and preparing them for consumption
Since we treat life as a learning experience, opportunities to teach our children and have them practice are many, and they sure pick up a lot of skills along the way. After cleaning and soaking them in lemon juice, I decided to hot-smoke them over a fire.
Once they were cooked over the open fire, it was time to prepare them on the plates. Here are some photos of how they were served. Would you eat them? Enjoy!
