Greetings of the day dear foodies!
Despite being busy in my own community + Steemit Iron Chef Contest, I always look for some time creating some good content to support other communities, specially Steemfoods as I love food so much!
I actually prepared this post yesterday, but due to my car accident, I lost so much time and was late in everything!
Anyway, here it is and I hope you'll enjoy it!
We are actually in the winter months in Mauritius and very often we will feel sick with this season change!
Many people will have soar throat as well as some colds and fever!
The magic potion that I will share below is great to drink to keep one warm and also make you well from colds and soar throats!
Check it out!
HONEY, GINGER & MINT INFUSION
To make this infusion...you will simply need :
- Water
- Raw Honey
- Fresh Mint Leaves
- Fresh Ginger
I was lucky having a good quantity of fresh mint at the restaurant today...my friend gave it to me for free!
Start by boiling water and add some pieces of fresh ginger!
Boil for 2 minutes!
Then add a big bunch of fresh mint leaves and let boil for 2 more minutes!
Boil until you see the water changes color to a light green!
Pour the infusion in a jug to keep on infusing and stay hot!
When you want...just put little honey in a cup and pour in the hot infusion!
You have to drink it when hot for best effect!
An easy to make infusion that is so beneficial to you...specially in a cold weather!
I hope you've enjoyed this little informative post!
Wish you a wonderful day/evening ahead!
Thanks for reading and supporting my blog!

This drink seems like a perfect one. I appreciate the way you clearly present the recipe. I should try this recipe. How is the taste by the way?☺️

Thanks so much for your appreciation my friend!
Hmmm the taste...sweet and minty...and the ginger gives a spicy note to it. But very good taste overall.
Wish you a lovely day ahead!
