Hello my beautiful fellow Steemians! Hope you all are doing great. This is Rida Aly, back with another food diary for y'all.
Today was saturday and officially off from university so I decided to bake a tea cake today.
I searched through internet and found this amazing recipe of tea cake on instagram, shared by Bake With Zoha.
Now, without delaying any further, let me share the recipe with you guys.

Thats all about ingredients. Now moving towards method.
METHOD
Blend oil, sugar and eggs together. After blending, mixture should look like this. It should be light coloured with thick consistency. |

Now, sift flour, baking powder and salt. After sifting, put this dry mixture aside.
And add vanilla essence to the blended egg mixture.
After adding vanilla essence, add this dry mix into the egg mix. Do not add whole of dry mix at once. Add it gradually into the egg mix and keep on mixing it slowly. |

Once you have added all of the dry mix and combined it really well, then add milk in this mixture now. Make sure milk is at room temperature or slightly warm. |

This step is optional. I added tutti frutti too. First, cut them into small peices and then fold them in a little bit of flour. Then add them into the mixture. |

Now grease the cake mould, place butter paper on it and pour the cake mix into the mould. I baked it at 180°C for 45 mins. |

This is going to be my go-to recipe for tea cake. Everyone in my family loved it.
