Went out into the garden to see what I could find! Gathered some carrots, kale, sage, broccoli, and a beet.
I decided to roast the carrots and beets in olive oil and warm spices.
For everything green I decided to make some pesto and gnocchi. I cooked down the green veggies in a covered frying pan while preparing the gnocchi, then combined them all along with a bottle of pesto from the store.
Last min I added in some peas from the garden that were in my fridge, so they weren't in the original haul picture. It was delicious and so fresh!
