That was a great idea which surely increased the twitter activity and hopefully made Steemit more visible for the potential new users. Good job!
If I may suggest something:
Steemit foods is one of the biggest communities on Steem and if I am not wrong it's the community that gains the most from the delegations of all the users, but the rewards in the contests are not very inviting. Maybe it would be a good idea to organize once per week contest with 100 or at least 50 STEEM (or SP) to win as it happens in the BRU community, steemingcuration community, create community, or others. When we were talking about delegating SP you mentioned that there will be some special contests for diamond delegators soon - there is none yet, but it could be one of them.
Don't interpret my message as a complaint, I think you are doing a fantastic job. It's just the idea. I know there is no need to motivate people to write on steemit foods, there is plenty of us publishing here, and basically, 75% of the newcomers join SteemitFoods in their first weeks on the platform, but some attractive rewards could bring some dolphins too and that would be even better for the community.
