| This author is also getting us used to high quality macro photos like these of the grasshopper. The one I selected was the one that hooked me when I saw it. I appreciate the cropping and the unusual framing, but shadows could have been removed from the insect's face by editing the lighting. |

| The author shares a telegraphic description of the subject and the photo, however the peculiar characteristics of the bedbug make it worthy of mention. He loved those photos that make you doubt if you are perceiving something real or artificial, this bug achieves that effect. Perhaps I recommend taking the risk of editing the lighting and the good use of shadows and blacks to highlight the subject or the focal point. |
