Hello, steemies!
It's been a while since I've written a model kit review post. The last one that I wrote was posted about 9 months ago, you can read that post here.

I recently made a couple more model kit review videos and posted them to my youtube channel, so I have more videos to post here.
This video is a review of a kit for an HO scale model railroad ribside boxcar of U.S. prototype. The real cars that this kit is modeled after were built by the Milwaukee Road railroad in their own shops. These cars were only built by the Milwaukee Road, but were used all over the U.S. in shipping service. These cars were built in several batches over a 10 year period from 1939 to 1949, and were used in railroad service at least into the 1970s. The cars were built in both 40 foot long and 50 foot long versions, with several variations from different batches, such as single door or double door versions.
This model kit represents one of the earlier type rib side single door boxcars. The Milwaukee Road built a total of 10,540 single door rib side boxcars in several batches over the 10 year period in which they were built. The kit is manufactured by Accurail, a well known manufacturer of HO scale model railroad freight car kits. Accurail's kits are well detailed and most of their kits are easy to build. This kit doesn't have as many parts as some of their other kits, but it still requires some assembly.
Here is the video for my kit review.
I also have another HO scale boxcar kit review that I posted in my steem blog about 9 months ago. That review was for the Accurail kit for a 36 foot Fowler boxcar. Here's the link to that post.
