sorry if sometime i am hive and may be i make stupid question, but this year we got in our community the advertise, but what really we got from it?
In this year we got HF21 that cutted our post profits, i become minnow, but frankly speaking i cannot see any advantage on the advertise on Steemit in my point of view.
Sometime it comes the link where you can see how to buy the banner to advertise in Steemit and when i open it i saw the most cheap solution cost 250 usd, so if i can see every time different banner, it means fiat money are coming into Steemit account, so what for we have to get annoing advertise if we cannot get any benefit to get them?
This is my last bounty for 2019, so i wish a great 2020 to all friends, especially coming from steem-bounty family.
It keeps steem price from going too low as steem Inc doesn't sell too much steem

Honestly I don't think that we - as simple users - will ever get something from those banners. 2019 was the year of Ads and perhaps 2020 will be too; as you probably saw yourself, Ads were suddenly everywhere. It was just a matter of time before they would appear on Steemit too. One thing is for sure: someone is making good money with those ads.

I think the ads have no profit. Steemit should delight its users both by increasing the price and creating profitable paths. I strongly agree with your opinion about HF21.

At STEEMFest, the steemit people said it was highly profitable beyond what they expected and allows them not to have to power down so much. The less thy power down the better. I do not use steemit to work on steem, and so I never see these ads.

As @bxlphabet stated before, advertising decreases power down from Steemit Inc accounts, therefore it has a positive impact on STEEM price. I do not like it, but Steemit Inc must get funding from somewhere, and I think this is a good solution.
In the future, if that funding is not necessary anymore, I think advertising should work the same way promoted section works - by burning SBD.
