Post reward payouts take place seven days after a post is made. If someone downvotes the post before seven days, the reward may be lost. Even if the price of Steam goes up, your reward dollars can go up. Also, if the price of Steem drops, the amount of votes your post receives before payout may decrease. And it's likely to happen before the full peyote. Again it may not. Basically after seven days when the payout will be credited to your wallet.
