It's another promotion day after signing up 2 users yesterday on steemit. I hosted a class to brief them on the platform as well as tell them what they'll learn and how to set up their account. Since I couldn't hold the class on the fixed date, I chose to hold it yesterday. @slimmama, @uyisaac and @basil20 were very much online and I actually helped them set up account, do achievement 1 and complete the achievement 3 post by @basil20
Hosting a class and guiding newbies to setting up their account on Steemit |
---|
After introducing steemit to the two users, I directed them on how they'll login to carryout major activities on the space. The username of the person I signed up yesterday isn't @lovely but @slimmama. I told her to open the pdf she download and copy her private posting key which she'll be using to login on the platform. I then sent the login link for her to login on the platform.
After logging in, she told me she did so. So I had to forward the message and voice notes I usually send to my students to her so that she can set up her account using the steps outlined in the voice notes. After uploading her profile and display name, she told me the problem she had which i told her to ignore. She later joined Communities I specified for her. After joining those Communities, I gave her an assignment.
I told her that the first every newbie must create is an introduction post of themselves which marks their achievement 1. I gave her format for posting her achievement 1 and also told her to check other people's achievement 1 in newcomers community. She did just so. I'll be teaching how how to post Tonight.
The other user I signed up had difficulties pasting her private posting key on the login space. She tried countless times but to no avail. Since I know her physically, I told her we'll settle that issue when I meet her in school.
I also guided @basil20 on how he would make his achievement 3 post on plagiarism. I told him that he needs to deliberate on;
- meaning of plagiarism
- types of plagiarism and
- how to avoid plagiarism
He submitted in no time which I checked to see if he has done a great job. His writeups were on point. It's just that he needed to add some more words or text to How to avoid plagiarism on steemit. That was that. I told him to get prepared and that in the evening, we'll do the posting.
Promoting steemit on Whatsapp and Twitter |
---|
I did the promotion of steemit on these two social medias with the use of screenshots of my posts on Steemit and some writeups with necessary tags. These are my write-ups for whatsApp promotion as I was Promoting to people I barely knew.
Good afternoon. Sorry for badging into your dm. I thought of sharing something that may interest you with you. Some of us are still looking for opportunities to make more online, some haven't seen and have ventured into ponzi schemes that would crash, thereby making them waste their money. Having seen all these, I thought of sharing what I've been doing to become financially stable. It's about a social media platform like Facebook.
You create contents on anything just as you create contents on Facebook and registration on this platform I'm going to show you is free. Unlike Facebook that gives you likes when you post, steemit gives you dollars on your post instead of likes which you can withdraw. I got $9 in a day telling others about the match I watched. You can share anything, even skills, movies you watch, share how your day went etc.....
If you're interested in joining this platform and knowing more about it, join others in this group and learn.......
These are the few words I could say so as not to bulk my message.
I did Twitter promotion too after Promoting to more than 10 persons. I hope the results would be positive.
Cc,
