Welcome to the presentation of the Colombia-Original community, continue reading and feel good about it. Colombia-Original is a common meeting place, where you will be well received, the theme you can develop is wide, since being an inclusive community we accept very varied content, practically for all tastes, as long as (of course) maintain order and respect by staying away from plagiarism and the use of AI.
And of course, being respectful, kind and reciprocal with other users, we consider ourselves a home for all partners.

The name of the community and the purpose of the community name should be mentioned. You can share information about members of your community.
The community in question is Colombia-Original, the origin of the name was from a discussion between the founder (@nahela) and the Co-Founder (@josevas217) in May 2021, and the name arises because originality is something relevant in Steemit, and Colombia, because both were in Colombia and Nahela was the representative of Colombia in Steemit at that time.
Also because we wanted to have a different name than Steem-Country, which is usual.
- The initial purpose was to have a meeting place for the Colombian community in Colombia or anywhere in the world. Where they could come together and share knowledge and experiences.
But then the theme was expanded as well as the acceptance of practically all nationalities, which is why we consider that we are a broad and inclusive community with a vision of long-term growth.
We also wanted to create a community that is present, that is, one that trains users, guides them, reads them, and makes them feel that their growth is being supported by the community team, and this is achieved only by being present.
Community administration
With the passing of the months, the community became a good mass of daily users, and we saw the need to incorporate moderators (the same ones that have remained since the beginning of the community)a number of 7 in total, the following:
- @nahela: Founder, current Steem Representative, more than 5 years on the platform, community curator.
- @josevas217: co-founder, current Steem Representative, moderator in the Steemit Health and Project Hope community, more than 5 years on the platform, community curator.
- @franyeligonzalez: moderator in Colombia-Original, Steemit Health and Word of Xpilar, Steem Representative, more than 5 years on the platform, community curator..
- @alanasteemit: moderator at Colombia Original, more than 5 years on the platform.
- @chucho27: moderator in Colombia Original, more than 2 years on the platform.
- @arnoldog25: moderator in Colombia Original, more than 2 years on the platform.
- @marpa: moderator in Colombia Original, more than 5 years on the platform.
It should be taken into account what type of posts are made in the community or what type of posts are allowed.
As we mentioned before, the diversity of topics is wide from crafts, daily games, recipes, gastronomic experiences, trips, reflections, leisure and participation in the different community contests.

Right now we have a community account, @colombiaoriginal, with almost 185,000 SP, of which 73,000 are owned by the account and the rest are delegations. The community team has delegated 75,500 SP (which denotes a committed team that trusts the community project). The rest are users who support community growth with their delegations.
- We also have the support of the Booming Support offered by Steemitblog, with a total of 6 votes per day, additionally with the support of 8 votes per day from the @ecosynthesizer account.
We vote absolutely all the posts that are published in the community, no post is left without the support of a vote or even less without a comment from some of our moderators or administrators, which shows that supporting our users is the priority, all the community support that is achieved is directed at them and distributed among them.
Despite having support (something we really appreciate) and having a growing account, we still have limited capacity to further support our users, since generally the number of posts we have per day is around 25, except when we are participating in the challenges proposed by Steemit, moments in which we can get to have around 50 per day. Today we have 4278 subscribers and 286 active posts.
As can be seen, it is a high number of posts per day, and the SP is insufficient to support as much as we would like.
- As teams We are organized in such a way that every day each team member has a day in which they will be in charge of the review (in search of plagiarism or use of AI), as well as commenting and guiding users in case they have errors or mistakes in their publications.
- Nahela is in charge of carrying out the daily top5, the selection of the posts that are supported is done collectively, of the Booming reports among other posts from the community account, such as the applications to the different activities proposed by Steemitblog.
- Josevas217 is in charge of the Healing with the Community account and the @ecosynthetizer account, he is also in charge of carrying out the Power Up of the community account.
- Franyeligonzalez is in charge of organizing the monthly schedules in which each team member will hold their commentary day, and in the same way when it is appropriate to hold contests for each team member.
- Marpa is in charge of verifying new users in the community.
- Between arnolodog25, Alanasteemit and chucho27 they are in charge of carrying out the dynamics that close on weekends.
You should state what policies the community has regarding abuse or what steps are taken to detect abuse.
Each moderator is educated in the use of plagiarism detection tools and currently AI, every time one of the team discovers something, it is notified by the main group, and another that is available will also review the Post in question.
The tests will be left to the user as a comment and a label is placed (1st Warning IA or 1st Warnind plagiarism), additionally !report is used to notify steem Watcher and, if necessary, alert any other person that is required or this linked to the user in question.
Detective @omnipresente is also currently collaborating in the community, this allows us to work hand in hand in favor of the fight against abuse and bad practices that users sometimes incur.
If there is any specialty of the community it should be mentioned.
In general, the theme is varied, however, each one of the members are career professionals, and they usually focus on specific themes but with a light air, our moderators are guides capable of preparing tutorials, educational and informative content to support users always in a clear, simple and creative way since the idea is to have a good time when learning and generating content.
It should be clearly stated why a user will work in the community. So that users feel attracted to that community.
Rest assured that no publication is completely $0, we support everyone (as long as they comply with the basic rules on the platform and with our internal rules).
No publication is not visited by a member of the team, who will leave a nice comment. And if so, any suggestion that will allow you to improve your post.
Constant training, we are a community that contributes to the growth of users, we like to see them grow, we currently have users who started with our community and today are moderators in other communities doing a great job.
Contests every week, we manage at least 3 weekly contests which are varied and entertaining, many users seek support in contests, so we always have many for them to choose and participate.
Attractive prizes, we not only have good contests but many prizes to distribute, they are made up of votes and liquid steem.
Humanitarian support, we have a project called "Proyecto ser Humano" with which we have supported more than 100 users, a number that fills us with pride, even more so because we have been the helping hand of users in situations of illness , need, Christmas and unfortunately even in duels.
- We do not limit users with the use of a particular language, although logically we prefer that the publications be in English or Spanish, since they are the languages that we can handle easily.

As a community, and with the support of the SteemWatcher project, we have controlled the problem of users who want to abuse the system with AI content generation or plagiarism.
We have somewhat paralyzed a project of economic aid to users (PROYECTO SER HUMANO / HUMAN BEING PROJECT), given that most of the profits from the community account are converted into Steem Power, it is a project that we have had since its creation, which has left great fruits and that we would like to relaunch, we will share some achievements of this project:
