Steemit Features and How to Navigate Through Them

Steemit is still the leading social media platform that rewards content creators for sharing their original content as well as curating content. Steemit is the best platform for content writers to monetize their content and grow community. Steemit is built on the Steem blockchain, which produces Steem and Steem Dollars (SDB), which are rewarded to publishers for posting, commenting, and upvoting posts.

Steemit is one of the user-friendly websites powered by the Steem blockchain that contains different features that may look confusing to you if you haven't taken your time to access them. These features are seen in the interface of your account, which you can navigate through.

STEEMIT FEATURES

On opening your Steemit profile, the first seven features that you will see are: "Blog, Posts, "Comments, "Replies, "Comments," "Wallet," and "Settings."

Blog: This is the feature that allows you to see all of your posts and those of other users posts you have resteems. Also, here, you can see your profile page, which is viewable by other Steemit users like you. Finally, in this feature, you can only see Resteem posts.

Posts: This is features you can see all the posts you have posted both current and old. It is one of the features that allows you to find your old content by scrolling down.

Notification: This is the feature where you get to see if a user has mentioned you in his or her post or comment. By going through the notification, you will see other features.

Communities: This is the feature where you get to see the community you have created and the one you have subscribed to.

Replies: Replies is the feature where you go to see all the replies that other Steemit users have made to your posts and comments. If I reply to your post, you will get to see it easily via this feature.

Wallet: This is one of the most important features on Steemit and contains numerous functionalities. It is the feature where you go to see your balance, make transfers, sell Steem Dollars for STEEM, and also do POWER UP. You can also use the wallet features to transfer your TRX.

Settings: Here is where you go to change your profile settings. It contains your Steemit bio-data, and whatever you change will be seen by everyone.

Beside the above features, which are seen on our personal Steemit profile, there are other features that help us find the latest and trending posts. Firstly, let's start with the one below.

Home: The home page is where you can see the most recent posts from the users you are following.

In addition to this, you can sort your posts by either "Trending, New, Payouts, or Muted." By frittering a post, you can upvote it before it becomes popular.

The Steemit interface is very user-friendly and doesn't require you to spend the whole of your time studying how to navigate from one feature to another. By understanding the function of each of the features we have discussed, you will be able to access them properly.

With these features we have been using, what other features do you wish to see on Steemit? In my case, I wish to see a chat box feature where I can interact with another user privately without going to Discord or WhatsApp. With this feature, I am sure Steemit will become an interactive and entertainment platform.
