Maybe you all don't know that what is mining rig optimization and what are its methods that can be used but today I am going to elaborate this topic and for that purpose I am here in between you guys again.

For the maximization of profits , efficiency and overall performance by cryptocurrency miners if there is one of the most significant process then this is mining rig optimization and nothing else. Fine tuning some particular settings some upgrading components and implementation of Strategies for the reduction of energy consuming all are involved in it as well as maintainance of cost is also its part. If there is well optimised mining rig used then it can cause increase hash rates which would reduce the downtime and electricity bill would also reduce in this way.

One of the major and significant role of mining rich optimization is do in hands the hash rates by reducing consumption of power and for this their could be different methods used I am explaining below:

1. Overclocking:Overclocking is one of the most significant method in which you have to push graphic cards and some particular applications specific integrated circuits so that it may be helpful for maximizing computational power.

2. Undervolting:Undervolting is a method when you reduce the supply of voltage to GPU for minimizing the consumption of power without compromising its performance.

3. Cooling system upgrades:Cooling system upgrades is again one of the most effective method which include the implementation of some cooling solutions like if I given example then you can say that liquid cooling system for the reduction in temperature and for the maintenance of stability and for its enhancement also.

4. Power supply unit upgrades:To use power supply unit upgrades is again one of the most effective methodology for reducing energy wastage and for minimising the generation of heat.

5. Cable management:Cable management is a method in which you have to organise different cables for the improvement of air flow and for the reduction in accumulation of dust.

Now here are some examples

Overclocking and Undervolting implementation

Suppose there is a miner who have rig which contain six Nvidia GeForce GTX 3080 GPUs and it is mining Ethereum so for performance optimization they would;

• Firstst overlock the GPU for increasing hash rate (eg, from 40 MH/s to 50 MH/s).

• Secondly Undervolting implementation at GPU wood result in less consumption of power (Suppose from 250 W to 190 W per GPU)

Now you can see that we have achieved 25% increase in # and also reduces power consumption by 22% so in this way there is less electricity utilization and higher profit can be earned.

Cooling System Upgrade implementation

Again suppose there is a miner who have rig which contain six Nvidia GeForce GTX 3080 GPUs and it is mining Ethereum so for efficiency optimization they would;

• Try to do replacement of standard cooling fan with those fan which have increased air flow and less noise and high performance as well.

• We can also install liquid cooling system for dissipating heat in one of the most significant way.

Now you can understand that how rejection in temperature has increased stability and life span of them by a some % increase in hash rate also due to improvement in cooling

• There is a need to implement different mining software optimisations.

• There should be cleaning and dusting of the rigs at regular basis.

• There is a need to regular upgrade to more efficient GPU.

• Use of efficient power suppliers and cables is highly recommended strategy.

• It is much crucial to regularly monitor and adjust the settings with mining softwares.
