Also he selflessly took this initiative for all of us. Also he contributed to me making this post. Because the way he showed me I was able to set up my account recovery today. So I thought to share my experience with everyone. So much love and respect to my dear Rme Dada.

Many time many people get their steem account hacked due to various reasons and they can't recover their account.Because they don't have proper recovery set. A few days ago, the @upvu account was hacked.Later upvu had a good developer team, due to which he was able to recover his account again very soon. However, a lot of liquid steem has been siphoned from his account.And this information I got from my rme dada.

Friends, today I will show you how to set @retrieve ID as the recovery account of your account. And why do this. Basically for some reason our account is hacked and if @retrieve account is set as recovery. Then we will be able to recover our ID very easily. So we will set the recovery account as @retrieve account to recover the hacked ID(When my id will be hacked).

Let's friends today how I set up my recovery account to @retrieve successfully, I will share it with you in the screenshot. Hope you will benefit from it.

First of all I have to go to https://steemworld.org/ and you can see there is signin option. I clicked on sign in option.

After doing this, my account is asking for sign in, but I will sign in with the posting key there.

After signing you can see my name above. It means my account is logged in. Then I'll click on Dashboard.

After clicking on the dashboard, account details are displayed. There I will click on Account Details. After clicking on Account Details, you will see an option called Change Recovery Account, click on it.

Then another small window will appear, where you will write the name of the account of the @retrieve. Which I want to set as recovery account.

If you click OK with @retrieve account, another window will open. Where you have to login with his owner key by clicking on OK.

As you can see I made it OK with my Steem owner key.

Now you can see that after doing OK, a message called Recovery Account Change is showing above. That means my account recovery is successful.

Then i refresh the steem world page and see my account recovery is pending and set to recover from steem to @retrieve. But it will take 30 days.

Anyway guys, is my recovery complete, or is it recorded in the blockchain? I went down a bit to check it. And there it is.
