Hello friends of Steem Alliance, the team and Admins throughout the esteemed community.

Steemit on Wikipedia Q1

May you always be in good health and blessed, success always be with us all! I hope this post can provide ideas for all community leaders from various countries to participate in Steemit information dissemination and development projects with various creative methods and concepts.

As I explained in the previous post, that I am running a project which I named "Steemit On Wikipedia". A project that focuses on providing information and education about Steemit through the official Wikipedia website. In the first issue of my Road Map plan for Q1 in October, I started this activity by replacing the old steemit logo with the new official steemit logo.

Goals and Achievements

I'm trying to find information about Steemit by going to the wikipedia page in multiple language support. In the 1st edition I have successfully contributed to the Indonesian and Bengali wikipedia pages. I have replaced the latest Steemit logo on both Wikipedia pages.

In my search on wikidata.org, there are at least 12 language entries on wikipedia that publish information about Steemit, namely: Arabic, Bengali, German, English, Spanish, Persian, Indonesian, Japanese, Korean, Myanmar, Romanian, Turkish. As we all know that Wikipedia is a free and open source digital-based multilingual encyclopedia project. Wikipedia is the main source that can be trusted by the public in finding references for any information.

Even when we do a search on Google pages with the keyword "Steemit", Google will recommend the official page from Steemit.com and below that there is also the official Wikipedia page which shows information about "Steemit". Thus we can conclude that Wikipedia is the main reference in google search results for any topic. To display accurate information about Steemit on Wikipedia, it is necessary to update.

This update can be started with an update in terms of visuals that display the icon or logo of the Steemit platform. In a while ago, my search on Wikipedia was still loading with the old Steemit logo. So, I ran this project to edit the logo and replace it with the latest version logo.

Contributions to Burmese, Japanese and Spanish

My job for this second edition is to edit the Steemit logo on wikipedia in Burmese with wikipedia code as "my", , Japanese with wikipedia code as "ja" and Spanish with wikipedia code as "es". The focus of the work is on editing and uploading the latest official Steemit logo.

Conclusion

That's the contribution I've made to edit the Steemit logo on Wikipedia. I'm serving as a contributor on wikipedia to update basic information about Steemit, including the visual context associated with the logo. The results I have achieved are edits for 5 wikipedia pages, Bengali, Japanese, Myanmar, Indonesian and Spanish. Hopefully this contribution can increase the accuracy of the information on Wikipedia.
