Diary Game for 15/5/2034|| Helping Hand

Greetings fellow Steemians all over the world. I hope you all had a wonderful day? Please do have a nice time.

MORNING

My name is Rosemary Achu. I am a primary school teacher. I really love children a lot. To me, they are very special. I live with my aunt in a small house in Lagos Nigeria. Today was quite a busy day, but I thank God for His grace upon my life. I started today with morning devotion. This morning devotion has become part of me. I woke up at 5:30AM and had my morning devotion. I read through the book of psalm 23:1-6. Then I prayed for myself, my family, my pupils, my friends and people all over the world.

Shortly after my quiet time, I rushed to the kitchen to prepare breakfast for the family. Also I returned to the room to wake up my niece and nephew to get them ready for school. We had bread and tea for breakfast. I left for school at about 6:40AM. On getting to school, we had teacher's prayer meeting which lasted for 20 minutes before the school morning assembly.

My first and second class was a little bit stressful. Some of the pupils are fast in writing. While some are very slow. Trust me, these slow writers have a way of slowing down activities in the class. Anyway, they are lovely children. Many of them did excellently well in the class activity.

AFTERNOON

At 12:00PM, pupils went out for lunch break. Then I was able to tidy up the class and worked on the weekly assessment book. Though teaching could be very challenging, I just like to teach children. I see myself lucky and fortunate to impact knowledge.

At 3:00PM, school closes for the day. I waited for my pupils to leave before returning home. I really had a great time working with my pupils. I'm quite sure they had fun learning today. As a teacher, I've learned to be kind, friendly, and patient with children. That is the first key when dealing with little children.

EVENING

At 6.00PM, I was supposed to cook dinner. But then, I noticed that we didn't have cooking oil in the house. So I decided to buy the cooking oil in a nearby store. On my way to the store, I met an old man who needed help to cross the road. Luckily, I helped him to cross the busy road. He was so happy. However, I'm glad that I was able to help someone today.
