How to set Witness Proxy to @rme || Beginners Tutiorial || Steem Alliance

Hope everyone is doing well. I am starting this blog today wishing everyone good health. A competent leader is needed to run a platform in a neat and tidy manner. Who will do everything successfully with his own initiative and effort. The rest of the users need to help to support such a leader. That is what I am going to discuss in today's blog. So let's begin:-

Witnesses play a big role on the Steemit platform. Since it is a blockchain based social media platform, blocks are produced every 3 seconds and witnesses determine whether the blocks are valid or not. In addition, Witnesses help keep Steemit's prize feed and servers running smoothly. So Witness plays a big role for the Steemit platform. And this witness is selected through "witness vote" of common users. From this it can be said that a user can control the Steemit platform beautifully. Therefore, the witness has to be determined by considering the right witness and the projects done by the witness and the upcoming projects.

A normal user cannot select the right witness. Due to which their "witness vote" is misused. Users are requested to select @rme account as proxy account for proper use of "witness vote". This blog is meant as a tutorial post for new users.

First of all, login to the Steemit wallet and click on "Vote For Witnesses" after clicking on the drop-down menu next to the profile pic.

Then scroll down to the bottom and type rme in the box shown in the screenshot and click on "Set Proxy". This will select rme as your witness proxy. By setting this proxy, rme will vote as a witness, your witness vote will also be done for him.

As you all know, rme is the lifeblood of this platform and a major investor and entrepreneur. Many big projects have been completed on Steemit by his hand and more big projects are in the development stage. So by setting rme your valuable witness proxy, help develop this platform.
