Consolidated Booming votes from Dec 09 to 15, 2024.

Thank you for replying. I will have a look.

I assume that a part of the booming votes is given as a payment for being a moderator/ADM?

On the other hand I see "steemians" receiving up to 6 booming votes per month because? Perhaps they are moderators in different communities and this is the reason why some are so eager to be one?

What I don't see is how the Italian community uses their boosting votes. I assume they are the only ones also voting outside their community.

@wakeupkitty, thank you for mentioning me.
Regarding the way the Italian community uses its booming votes, we create a weekly report where anyone can see how votes are allocated.

In our community, we vote for members who actively participate, even if they are not Italian or are involved in other communities.
Our goal is to support users who contribute significantly to our community and to the Steemit platform as a whole.

We believe in transparency and fairness in the distribution of booming votes.
For this reason, we limit ourselves to one vote per moderator per week, ensuring that the remaining votes are distributed to community members based on their continued engagement, high quality posts and meaningful contributions.

If you also look at our competitions, you can see that our aim is to redistribute steems to those who participate, and you do not have to be a member of our community, because all Steemit users are welcome, as long as they are honest and do not post spam or plagiarism.

Yes, that's possible. But the steemit team clearly states that the number of booming votes a person can get per week is two. I'm saying that only some communities follow these rules exactly. Looking at the information in this article, anyone would think that.

If you read the reactions of those mentioned you might have your answer?

See here: https://steemit.com/hive-150122/@heriadi/soy4b4

@heriadi says the communities do not know from another who is nominated for a booming vote. This means that if 1 person is a moderator at 5 communities or frequently writes for different communities s/he can recieve booming votes from each one of them week after week...

If you read this: https://steemit.com/hive-150122/@mikitaly/soydfr

You will also read that these votes go to what is good and those investing in Steemit in the way like @mikitaly explained.

Are there that many good posts? I cannot tell/decide that. I only know I find it very hard to find them same if it comes to good comments. This can be based on a difference of taste or?
If you think thete's something suspicious it might be good to memtion it.

There are not that many communities with these votes and those who have them do not all have the same amount per day. Perhaps it is more interesting to calculate what the percentage is going to "members" and adm/mods?

@wakeupkitty

Thank you very much for your comment. I read both the comments you mentioned. They both seem to be following the correct rules regarding booming votes. But I wasn't talking about those people. The above post clearly lists the names of members who receive more than two booming votes per week from the same community. That's what I was talking about.

The discussion about this isn't closed yet. For sure you will hear more about it and it might also depend on the community, amount of boosting votes per day and who does the job.

I did moderating alone for a community for months, even during SEC contests while everyone was absent and was told to do so 24/7. This idiot did it. My payment was 0 (noboisting votes either).

Did anyone answer the question you have?
