We hereby present our community monthly report as requested by this noble community. This report is going to cover the following

Our community purpose

The purpose of the Steem Kids and Parents community is to provide a space here in Steemit where kids and parents can connect and interact with each other to form uniting bonds that will keep them together as they build their future together. It also provides an enabling environment for healthy learning for the kids as well as the parents. This community has maintained its purpose throughout the month under consideration through our activities. We have not deviated from it.

The official account of this community is @steemkidss.

This month of January, the community account has continued in its growth. Currently, our steem power is 49,725.39 owned sp and a total of 58,455.19 SP effective sp that includes the 8,717.43 delegation from our generous members.

Apart from the delegated steempower, we also have an active curation trail which enables our vote value at 100% upvote and when the account is fully recharged to give +$2.

For February, we tried our best to use these available resources to support both the admins, the moderators, and all members at large. This has kept us going to date and we promise to keep building on what we already have with the support we are receiving.

Our community stats

The total number of subscribers is 8,034 and 84 are active as of date. Throughout January, we never went below 70 active users. And this is amazing because we are always trying our best to keep these users active with activities.

The mods actively check all publications and review them daily. They take turns to do so despite low support.

Our Weekly booming reports for the month under consideration

We are currently not a booming community. Our community booming support was striped off us because we decided to turn off the community account in December to be able to finance a charity project that aims at supporting the kids in school who are facing severe economic hardships. We hope that with time, it will be restored and then we will continue to support the members with it.

However, we have devised a means by which we can support the members and moderators in our own little way. Yes, since the community account can vote at $2 if we combine it with our curation trail, we have decided that each day, we will choose 6 publications and support it at 80% with the community account. This has proved very effective as active members have increased as a result unlike when the booming was initially taken away from us. Our current active members are 108.

Our contests that help us to keep the members busy

Contests are our little secret that helps us keep the members active and the community booming with active users and publications. It takes great effort to organize these contests. Thanks to the admin and moderators. Throughout August, the community hosted these ongoing contests and the link to the posts are seen below.

At any point in time, about 6 contests are active in the community and are pinned for members to quickly see them and participate. The community alone runa 3 contests each week of the month. The Admin and moderators run theirs, this contributing to the success of the community.

Apart from the contests, we also post the daily picks support for each day. This means that we make a daily post to announce the users that we select for each day to encourage them to do more.

Our plans for the current month

For March ,we plan to

• Keep the users active with our activities like never before., we will keep doing our best to retain our active users, at least, not to fall below 100.

• We plan to keep building our steempower through our activeness and powerups.

• This community has continuity in mind and as such, we will present our February report in this community.

• We are continuing to support the a child a million smiles project with 100 steem weekly in conjunction with @worldsmile through it's @smilenigeria account who supports with 200 steem weekly.

We are grateful for this opportunity to present our report here. We hope that we have done Justice to it and pray for continuous opportunity and improvement in areas we aren't doing well.
