It was on a beautiful Monday morning talking about me while I was keeping fit. Last week was a week of joy, entertainment, fitness, and sport. The excitement on my face was on the next level; I must clearly admit it. Anyways, I'll narrate what activities I did during the fitness session. Exhausted and tired after celebrating two Steem4Nigeria Founders the previous day, I still had to go out to the fitness centre and keep fit.

Normally, my coach is @ngoenyi, and she doesn't take chances when it comes to this. The first program I did was quite easy initially but became difficult over time. The program was nameless, but with the description, I can give it a name.

Jumping Stretch

This may not really be a fitting or suitable name, but I'll describe how the activity was done. When I went there, I saw my fellow fitness members making use of natural support. They were instructed to place their two hands on the support, bring their two legs in as if they were to touch it with their hands, and then stretch it out and jump.

  • Bend with your two hands holding a support

  • Stretch back and front and jump, and then jump upright to the sky with your two hands above your head.

These were the instructions given, and we were to carry out these fitness tasks 70 times on a stretch. What do I mean by saying 80? What I mean is that, once we jump to the sky, it's counted as 1. So that's how I've been able to complete this program to 80. It wasn't as difficult as some other programs, though.

The pain was to be felt around your abdomen as it was an abs attack program. The only thing was the jumping, which helped a lot in gaining stamina when tilted. It was a fun program, and the women even loved it more than they could ever imagine, as it was much easier for them than others. @elco was giving hot vibes to my amazement. She did her program and completed it enthusiastically. I was the only person left in the aile. The next program that I did was - Plank stretches.

Plank Stretches

This was another abs attack program done. It wasn't just about the abs but also about the legs, as our legs were actively involved, doing the movement alone while the abs bore the pain. It was also a light program initially until you have completed half of the program turns before you feel the pains in suspending your legs.

We were to carry out this program 80 times, which is 8 repetitions and 10 times in a round. It wasn't an easy milestone, though we smashed it all together. It was fun, though, better than staying at home. After we completed this program, we took to doing random programs that weren't in the list that day. We just thought of being extensive.

The next program I did was an extensive program of lifting dumbbells. It was a shoulder/arm program that is meant to broaden your shoulders and give your hand the strength to lift things, most especially heavy equipment.

This was one of the toughest programs I did, though, as it involves endurance and resilience. **It takes determination to complete this program, as it involves lifting the dumbbell in your hand to your air, that is, above your head and shoulder. We were to do this consistently for 50 times, 10 repetitions in a round. I couldn't complete the program, unfortunately, because it was quite difficult.

The last program I did for the day before going home from the fitness centre was squat. This was the third program I completed with good faith despite the pain I felt around my thigh region. It involves going down with your waist and then going up consistently for 50 times, 10 repetitions. I didn't do it alone, though. After completing the program, I felt somehow relieved around my stiff waist, but I felt pains around my thigh.

I wasn't alone throughout this fitness training. I was with some Steemians there though and they include @elco, @ngoenyi, @leosmart, @alli001 etc. We worked out what we ate a day before for those who celebrated with my coach @ngoenyi. We were not much though. Women were much more than men and their energy that day was just on the next level. The vibes and everything was just giving I must admit.

That was how I ended my fitness program for the week. I couldn't attend on other days due to situations beyond my control. So this is a summary of my fitness activities last week. Check out my entertainment and sports post in the knack4buzz community.
