So here's we are doing this once again. Surely I am late but back in the game and wanna checkout writing skills again.
Is being shameless a good thing.
Sometimes shame is a bad thing like if you are shameful you can not talk to some people you wanna talk, or you can not do the definite job. Important job.
Such as you have to say your relatives for their some loss, if you are shameful you will remain back, and the relatives will thought bad of you. They think he is in arrogance or what that he doesn't even want to say few words for our loss. Or they think he is some mannerless person doesn't know how to deal with situations of relatives and others.
Such as you want to thank somebody or you want to share your feelings with somebody and you stay back with having shame in you. You will regret this moment for all whole life whenever you think for this time back. Alas I would have told at that time. Etc.
A story is famous in my mind;

There was a person on a good post, and very much respectful Among the people. At that time there were no washrooms in the houses of people, people used to create washroom very much away from home or some of them weren't even making washrooms.
He was invited in a gathering in the house of leader of the village once. He was the only one having washrooms in his house so he kept soldiers on washroom, for no one go to washroom without permission of these soldiers. They were standing at the door of washroom.
The person went to his gathering and enjoyed food and then he wanted to go to washroom. He went to that washroom and the soldiers stopped him and said: "you can't go inside if you are from the common people you must have to go to side of house,"
The respectful person didn't ashamed and he told the soldiers that he is the one who is invited today in the house so he is having much fam and he's the one for today's gathering.
Think if the person stayed shameful and didn't told them what would have done with him. Some time leaving the shame behind us a good thing.
But being shameless is a good thing yes.!
