I'm one of those introverts. But I see no reason to try to change. Like I would be happier if I was some other way? So try to change myself so I will be happier because everyone else looks so happy extroverted.

Sorry, no thanks.

I would not try to change anyone else either. If they are introverted and unhappy about it I and I had managed to develop some rapport with them, I would just accept them as they are. Why should they try to change them or encourage them to try to change?

A lot of very talented and knowledgeable people are introverted.
Here is definition: introvert: a person whose personality is characterized by introversion : a typically reserved or quiet person who tends to be introspective and enjoys spending time alone. Note: Introverts are typically more comfortable interacting with small groups of people rather than large groups (as at parties)."

It's silly and frustrating to try to be like someone else. It's like chasing rainbows. A mirage. An illusion. It never works out and never ends well. Time is better spent discovering the self. Who I am. If I could point them in that direction I would be really happy. Maybe open a door for them. Or at least a window. Just be a well-wisher and friend.

If they shared that they were becoming more and more depressed I would suggest professional counseling. A person can become so distressed and hopeless they commit suicide. So it is not something to take lightly.

This is true account. Jack was very depressed. Unhappy with his life. Not able to communicate with others and especially to find a romantic partner. He turned to drugs. Meth and cocaine. But his pain did not go away he just get more and more incapacitated from the substance abuse. I knew he was unhappy and tried to befriend him but he couldn't reciprocate. H withdrew into himself more and more. One morning his land lord found hum hanging in the bathroom from a sturdy shower curtain rod. I felt badly that I didn't try harder to get through to him. Or point him towards profession counseling. He was a very nice man. Loved working with horses.

Yes, it is a very valuable idea if only we could change the personality of other people. Of course it is very difficult because if we can change ourselves Maybe other people will be able to understand us too.

Our duties are to make introverts feel happy because there so many introvert personality that are highly talented and they know their identity and what they only need is happiness.

Introverts is not a sin but a gift which is good to encourage by making them feel it's important for them to vent from time to time and let them know you are there if they want to talk but don't push them to open up if they are not in the mood.

We can't stop an introvert to completely change over night but with the help of our maker which is God to handle things He's way.

Yes. I agree. To try to change someone else is not a good idea. Love and acceptance is a better plan. God gives the intelligence if there is something we can do or say that will help. Disapproval makes things worse.
