Waterproof hiking boots don’t always keep your feet dry in weather conditions like this Lol!😅
My youngest son was out hiking with Phoenix over the weekend………………
“ Dad I just bought a $300 pair of waterproof boots, and after my first hike my feet were soaking wet! “😅
I can understand……. I think they need to make a special “Pacific Northwest” waterproof boot Lol!😇
Just like a second car, for a backup, you need a second pair of “Waterproof” boots, so one pair has the chance to dry!😊
My green friend doesn’t seem to mind………………..

The Mrs and Silvertop both woke up in the middle of the night, to the sound of a torrential downpour pounding on our glass skylight!😮
Then it became an all day drizzling rain.😅
The Cows in the valley don’t seem to mind………………….
I watched out our patio door as our resident Mother deer and her now, not so small, baby ate fallen leaves.
They didn’t seem to mind………………..☺️
That’s when I found PEPE trying to light a fire in this outdoor freestanding wood stove at the cabin on the high trail!🤔
Hmmm………………

I know little frog, let’s head back home, maybe Silbertop will build a fire in the stove tonight! “😊
