Things that once seemed cool but now feel outdated

Greetings Everyone

I must say that this is the first time am posting in this unique community. This particular contest really caught my attention and am very excited about this contest. Alot of people have done or involved themselves with trending things of the past but now these things are now outdated and new things that are formed by humans are things that have trend now.

Our childhood days was cool

My childhood days was pretty good and I enjoyed every bit of it. I was always playing with my friends in my neighborhood as well as my friends in the school. We did alot of wonderful things and alot of things were also trending that period. I love those wonderful moments and I will talk about few things that were trending before but now outdated.

Cassettes: During my childhood days, my siblings and I were always borrowing our friend's CD (Cassette) and we will watch the cartoon at home for some weeks before returning it back to them. Most times our father will buy for us and we will watch them comfortably at home because we won't be bothering ourselves of returning it to anyone.

Now CD is quite outdated because of the existence of Smartphones, people can now comfortably download any released movie of their choice in their phones and watch them anytime they like. Nothing like borrowing cassettes all the time and most times the CD normally get bad and broken but our movies are always in our phones.

Spoke and wheel: We were always playing with wheels when we were very young, we will hold to wheel as is on the ground and put our spoke under it then begin to push it forward and be running, the wheel is flexible and most time we use the covers of old buckets.

But now we play games only in our smartphones and engage in sports. Our smartphones have really created a big impact in our lives because they have made life more easy and comfortable.

Rubber band games: When I was very little we normally play games with so many rubber bands so in other to make the game more interesting and enjoyable, we always go in search for so many rubber bands and we will end up seeing few while sometimes we will see nothing.

When we have gathered our rubber bands we will begin to play different games with them, there's a game 2-3 people plays, we will be kicking the rubber bands forward with our fingers then each time it lands on to another person's rubber band then the person's band automatically becomes ours 😂 but we no longer play those games anymore, we are now busy with our phones.
