I used to hear that rich people were afraid of their partners not because of love. It's because of wealth. So they avoid this. They usually hide who they are and try to woo the one they like. Until they succeed and then reveal their wealth. So can you accept this kind of concealment?

This is interesting.. who says the rich aren't afraid of love? It's not that the rich are immune if you ask me they are more afraid to lose than anyone else. You never know who you meet and if it will work out. Plenty get a divorce after 20 years of marriage because they found out the partner lived a double or even triple life. Kind of exhausting and for sure easier for a man than it is for a woman. Women might catch up since children are no longer a must or wanted.

So there she is the one he believes he likes (I doubt it's love) and with some luck, she likes him too because? The reason lies in the first second they met and instinct is what tells if it's true or not. but.. instinct can be tricked and not many still use it. So... he and she go out, just a walk around the block or sitting on a bench in the park because he's poor and she.. well whatever he looks adorable or at least that's what she believes what she sees. Adorable, not very attentive, but once in a while a twinkle in his eyes and he doesn't stink. What more does a woman want than a good laugh once in a while? A bit annoying is that he always forgets his wallet and one thing is sure all the excuses he makes are lies. She ignores it but wonders about his honesty. It's no problem to pay for herself and him once in a while but she isn't the bank of loan and doesn't earn enough to pay for all his expenses. Back home she wonders what to do next and has s good talk with her reflection in the mirror.
Okay, fine, let's give him a chance for a month or two. For a second she thinks "Is he a Scrooge".
One month, two months, three, four pass by. Still happily together or...she smiles not as frequently as before and is looking for a second job to support the "love of her life". After 7 months he says: My heart I have to tell you something, please sit down: I am ..... She looks at him and says: So you lied about your name? Why? Is it too ugly?
