The Kenya Revenue Authority successfully collected about $77.5 million in taxes from 384 cryptocurrency traders in the 2023-24 fiscal year. It proposed to install a real-time tax system directly connected to CEXs to automatically track key information. Kenya is one of the largest cryptocurrency markets in Africa.
