What is Power

Power means the ability to have control over people or things. This is applicable when it comes to powering up to power up your Steem is to gain more more control over post payouts and allow you to earn on curation reward. In other words Power up means to increase the influence you make with your account in voting and curating.

Importance of powering up
Of course they're alot for good good reasons why you should power up. But am going to give major major reasons why you should consider powering up.

you earn more curation reward

Powering up will enable you to earn more curation reward. What I mean by curating reward is: when you upvote or curates people's posts, you also earn a reward called the "curation reward" so the higher your the steem you powered up the higher your curation reward and vice versa.

Have control over your post

It is as very simple as that, when you power up your steem you have control over your post meaning that powering up influence tokens which gives you more control over posts payouts. When you don't power up, you have less control over your posts. Very simplified.

How to power up
Click on the small arrow on the steem token, the option will come out which consists of
*Trade
*Market
*Power up
Etc
Click on power up, it will request for your password copy and paste the required password then your steem has been powered up over.
