As a Languages teacher I got curious about what tips the AI Language Tutor gives.
Here we got 7 tips. The new one for me (to experience) is number 3: Use Language Apps as Duolinguo or Memrise. All other tips I am familiar with during my language leaning experience: French, Nahuatl, Korean. In addition, I advise those tips to my students. It requieres to be curious into the new language and constancy, daily constancy.
Here the AI Language Tutor answer:
{
- Read Regularly: Engage with Spanish books, newspapers, and online articles to expose yourself to new words in context.
- Flashcards: Create flashcards with new vocabulary words and their meanings. Review them regularly to reinforce memory.
- Use Language Apps: Consider apps like Duolingo or Memrise that focus on vocabulary building through interactive exercises.
- Watch Spanish Media: Watch movies, TV shows, or YouTube videos in Spanish with subtitles to learn new words and phrases.
- Practice Speaking: Find language exchange partners or tutors to practice speaking and use new vocabulary in conversation.
- Keep a Vocabulary Journal: Write down new words you encounter, along with example sentences to help remember their usage.
- Learn in Context: Instead of memorizing isolated words, learn phrases or sentences to understand how words fit into the language.

My preferred ones were 6 and 7. While I use to keep a journal in my mother language and also some fragment in the foreign language it gives me the chance to contextualise my writing when asking to native speakers, in my case my teachers.
