This afternoon the sun was shining very bright, when I walked around the irrigation channel in the village where I live.
You can see a variety of flora and fauna that live around the irrigation canals near the rice fields. What caught my eye was a low-growing plant with yellow petals, about 2 centimeters in size.
The community around this wild plant is considered a weed and is often killed by farmers when it grows in their gardens.
After taking some photos, I went home. I tried to find the name of the plant on the internet. My curiosity immediately disappeared, it turned out that this flower was named Wedelia flower with the Latin name Wedelia biflora L. DC.
This wild flower plant has a great name. Besides having beautiful flowers, it turns out that this wild plant is also included in herbal plants, whose flowers and leaves can be extracted and are useful for healing cuts / bites, curing stomach aches, rheumatism, headaches, coughs, malaria and diarrhea. why the leaves can treat disease? Because Wedelia flowers contain triterpenoid compounds, while the leaves have the potential to be active as an antiplasmodium.
That's enough for my post tonight, hopefully it will be useful for all friends and success for all of you .
