My Dear Friends

There are often many questions in our minds that we cannot ask. Or we ignore them thinking that they might not be important. We don't ask them fearing that the other person might scold us.

I used to be very quiet in school and only did what the teachers assigned. One day, my teacher asked me, 'Why are you so quiet and don't ask questions like the other kids?' My response was, 'I'm afraid that if I ask questions, the class will mock me.' Then my teacher told me something that I still remember vividly today: 'Asking questions is very important in the process of learning. It increases knowledge and is the best way to eliminate doubts and misconceptions.

Steemit is a platform where we all learn and teach each other daily. Because here, we can discuss every aspect of life. And everyone has the freedom to share their opinions. And the best part is that there are both seniors and juniors here, and everyone is connected to each other in some way. Yet, we often hesitate to ask questions about a topic or Steemit itself. Even I, who have been on Steemit for 4 years, think that I know a lot about Steemit, but there are still many questions that I want to ask. However, I too often ignore them thinking, 'What will people think?

Therefore, my topic for today in the Steemit Chat Box is 'Queries'. In this, I would like to invite all My friends and fellow steemians who have questions on their mind, whether they are related to Steemit or any aspect of life. You can write your questions in the comment section of this post. And if you want to ask your question to a Senior person on Steemit, you can mention their username except SteemCurators at the end of your question in the comment.

I hope you get answers to your questions. And maybe, due to your questions, many other Steemians will also get their doubts cleared and learn something new.

Since I started this topic, I am going to ask my questions to begin this chat.

  • Which plays a bigger role in bringing traffic to Steemit, Communities or Hashtags?

  • We often talk about inviting investors to Steemit or promoting Steem. But how can we convince investors and users that investing in Steem will be beneficial for them?

  • Many platforms collaborate to increase their token prices. Does Steemit.Inc have similar plans for the future?

  • According to Binance, the total supply of Steem is 470.66M, and the circulating supply is also 470.66M. So, what's the reality behind the rewards generated on Steemit?

  • What is the maximum supply of Steem Token?

  • Many tokens have touched their all-time high prices along with Bitcoin in Bull Run, but Steem is moving towards its all-time low. Why is that?

These are a few questions that may also be in the minds of other Steemians. And I hope to get answers to all these questions. To achieve this, I would like to invite Respected Senior Steem Personalities @xpilar, @stef1, @pennsif, @steemchiller, and all Respected Steem Representatives to share their views on this matter and increase our knowledge.

Good morning ;-))

Which plays a bigger role in bringing traffic to Steemit, Communities or Hashtags?

No one of both I would say. Communities can be helpful for authors to structure their publications. Hashtags should lead to the content (don't do this because of tags like #steemexclusive or #club123...

The only way to generate traffic is interesting and unique content!

We often talk about inviting investors to Steemit or promoting Steem. But how can we convince investors and users that investing in Steem will be beneficial for them?

How does a sales representative convince his customer to buy exactly THIS hoover...?

So, what's the reality behind the rewards generated on Steemit?

My question from my first day on Steem: hopefully you'll get an answer.

I have another question to @xpilar: what the hell are you doing with @witness.xpilar account and the comment bot??? He's gone mad!

Dear you tell the fact things but the thing is there are too much communities and plenty of hashtags. People use those hashtags that are even not important that make the rush in steemit platform. Indeed you are saying Right things. I agree 💯 with you.

The bot is replying us seriously? By listening this I am a little bit shocked and I thought somebody likes what I write that's why there are too much comments. Feel sorry for me.

Well. The eternally identical (bad) style of the masses of comments alone is a clear indication of this. But if you look at the frequency and number of these activities, it only works with an AI. The point is that we deny ‘small, unknown’ users this opportunity; we say: bot-generated comments are not acceptable, they hinder real interaction and have no value. And a witness uses this strategy to advertise himself...?

I appreciate @xpilar for much of what he represents on this platform. But this action is out of line and I would really like to hear from him himself what this is about....

It is not that there are too many communities, let's be fair each country could run exactly the same topic-community in their own language if they would go for it without harming other communities.

The main problem is the communities are a mess!
A country community does not stand for a topic and many tried to host literally every type of contest to be noticed. The result is it's chaotic, interesting posts cannot be found. I mean seriously: who likes to read poetry or read about healthcare will not visit Pakistan or Venezuela and scroll through hundreds of diaries in the hope to find a poem!

The lack of or using the wrong hashtags is another problem. If I search for #story most of what I see is nonsense text and indeed diaries and AI text and whatever is posted. It is the same for every hashtag used.
A community should stand for a topic and make clear that only certain content is accepted and which hashtags should be used.

If it's important to mention: steemexclusive, clubstatus, country and burnsteem25 let those hashtags be the last 4 since not one of them is important. It's just extra information that can be found everywhere and no one will say: I am bored let's see who joins #club5050

I'm so glad that you took the time to read my questions and respond to them in such a kind manner. I believe that communities have a post structure that is only accessible to users on Steemit. And I also understand that posting in communities on Steemit is better for individuals.
My question is, if I want to know which method is most effective in reaching readers outside of Steemit so that my post can easily show up in internet searches?

How does a sales representative convince his customer to buy exactly THIS hoover...?

The answer is NEED. How do we tell someone that they need to keep Steem with them, but there should be a specific Reason for it.

what the hell are you doing with @witness.xpilar account and the comment bot??? He's gone mad!

Regarding xpilar.witness, I would say that this is not @witness.xpilar but some other account @xpilar.witness, and the task of promotion has been given to a lazy person who doesn't have time to read people's posts and is commenting on users' posts without reading them, using AI-generated comments :-)"

Thanks and Have a Good Day. :-)

I believe that communities have a post structure that is only accessible to users on Steemit.

Yes, thats what I meant. They provide structure for the author himself and his local followers. Outside of Steem, this structure loses its relevance.

My question is, if I want to know which method is most effective in reaching readers outside of Steemit so that my post can easily show up in internet searches?

This question probably concerns all users... Promoting in other social networks seemed logical, but seems to have only marginal effects. I'd be curious to see what @philhughes could contribute... ;-))

The answer is NEED.

No! Not an existing need. They convince you that you would benefit from it. So the need is generated. You could also call it manipulation.

@xpilar.witness (of course you are right ;-)) continues. He's got downvoted and flagged and fallen down with his reputation... For what?

When I search for a topic on Chrome or any other browser, I notice that the next time I open Chrome (whether it's the next day or after 3 days), I see many related posts recommended in the recommendation section. However, despite being active on Steemit daily, I have never seen any trending Steemit posts recommended on Google. Despite many posts having high engagement and being trending topics, why don't Steemit posts appear in recommendations? This is strange.

You could also call it manipulation.

Does this mean that manipulation can be done to onboard people on Steemit or to bring in investors? (Or maybe they are being lured with rewards?) . Because apart from this, I don't see any other option.

He's got downvoted and flagged and fallen down with his reputation... For what?

I think @xpilar can answer this question better because this account is associated with their name and they are a respected personality on Steemit.

Hi @rashid001, yes in order to learn we have to ask questions and also this way we communicate. There are indeed a lot of questions we may have regarding Steemit because this is a place where we live. So I will try to answer some of your questions:

  • What is important more Communities or hashtags? There are not many hashtags used majority using just few of them:

#thediarygame, #steemexclusive, different clubs and of course, countries

Communities? Maybe, again depend on how active community is.

  • the only what will attract people to invest in Steem is when the value of Steem will grow

  • Value of Steem will go up on its stage if more people will invest, often we need to have Influencers and proper well know people or popular people, maybe celebrities, but this is something that we talk about for a long time but unfortunately nothing happened.

You are a most experienced Steem personality, and I'm glad that you gave importance to my questions. If we look, the #Steemexclusive tag is used in a huge amount. It has its own popularity. And #thediarygame is the only tag that has been popular for four years. However, you believe that both communities and hashtags have their own importance and place.

the only what will attract people to invest in Steem is when the value of Steem will grow

In my opinion, investing at a low price is usually better, but only if its future plans are good. Maybe no one knows about Steem's future projects.

Value of Steem will go up on its stage if more people will invest, often we need to have Influencers and proper well know people or popular people, maybe celebrities, but this is something that we talk about for a long time but unfortunately nothing happened.

I think, currently, it depends on investors where they take it. As a part of the Steemit family, I would like to see it grow. I wish steemit.inc could bring new developments to attract investors and to reach its price to new highs.

Heartfelt thanks for your valuable responce! May your day be filled with love, laughter, and endless blessings.😊

steemexclusive already existed before thedirarygame.. which is a stupid tag and I never understood why it was used. Seriously.. a diary is a game? Will anyone, an outsider type that word to find diaries?

steemexclusive might sound good but if that hashtag is used what exactly does it mean? Why waste the only 4 to use this? A moderator or whoever still had the job to check if it's true so the hashtag is pointless because I will not find the topic I am looking for. My phone might show me twenty and that's is (can be the internet but it's a fact). If I like to read about a film it's a hard task to find it in the messy heap of steemexclusive.

Investing is always the best to buy if the value drops,.. again I say it would also be helpful if buying can be done via the steemit platform. To many it is not possible or a hard task meaning that alone will not motivate someone to buy quickly and invest. Perhaps the lack of this option is done on purpose so the only way is to grow if you receive support from the sc01 and sc02 and of course are not so stupid to host contests and give the Steem you earned by hard writing away! Since that is also something many with a low budget do.

As far as I know, the purpose of introducing the Steemexclusive tag is to prevent people from sharing their posts on other blockchain social media platforms like Hive blog and Blurt. This tag was made necessary to stop this practice. Apart from this, i think there is no other use of this tag. That's why I put this tag in the 3rd or 4th position in my post.

On the other hand, I put the main tags at the beginning of the post so that readers can understand its relevance. This is why I talk about hashtags. Reading requires a little effort, but you can reach your desired post through hashtags. Small users like me want to sell Steem because it's in the form of rewards..and then only those rich people (long term investors) invest in steem they know how to power up millions of Steem in large quantities and earn curation rewards.

And and another thing, as its value goes down, the value of the rewards earned by users also decreases.

I can hope that maybe the day will come when developments will start happening in Steem and the price will rise.

How can we invest and by investing I mean buy Steem if the platform can not offer this? It is really exhausting and demotivating if you have to take 6 steps to add a few Steem.

Which plays a bigger role in bringing traffic to Steemit, Communities or Hashtags?

I think so hashtags because when we search for desired hashtags just take it an example poetry‚ then we can see that there are many communities like free writers‚ knack4buzz other entertaining communities in which Steemians write poetry but some who don't know the rules of the communities post poetry to another communities too. So hashtags are used to find the content because some write the content of any type in any community because they are unaware. So I think so that hashtags brings more traffic on steemit platform.

Moreover this is an interesting post🤗

Thank you for taking time to read and joining the conversation

So hashtags are used to find the content

Yes, absolutely, you're right that hashtags separate publications based on topics so that readers can search and read posts of their interest.and @wakeupkitty is more knowledgeable about hashtags.
And I also think that hashtags might play an important role in driving traffic to Steemit.

But have you noticed the difference when we post directly on our blog, the generated link shows the hashtag after (Steemit.com/electronics/@rashid001/post), whereas in community posts, the link shows (steemit.com/hive.1099958/@rashid001/post) first? What's your opinion about this.

@tipu curate

Thanks..👍

Thank you Dear friend.😊

I doubt questions are answered on platform most people are not interested and see it as a waste of time. I have years of experience and in most cases your are treated like an idiot if you ask the way. They think you are joking or are irritated because you dare to ask what everyone should know by now.

I am searching for comments... it's no secret that always the same take the time to comment. Should I keep searching on and not reward those who invest time in showing others the way and help them? In many cases these kind hearted people are backstabbed and left behind if the newbie is discovered and does well.

It happened to me years ago and right now it happens again and I speak many lately who feel the same and say: I will only invest in me since no one does that and I am tired of wasting my time on making others rich.

Unlike many I do invest a lot in others but I agree with those who say I quiet. Honestly speaking it's not worth the time to give a hand to anyone since they only knock on your door for great ideas, if they need you and next take the credit and are ignored. In the meanwhile I have hardly time to do what I like most which is writing stories.

Back to my search for comments... if you skip all those posts and only read comment and replies a whole new world opens and a different faces is shown. Most likely the real face and the true colours of a platform

I just posted this: https://steemit.com/hive-152479/@hive-152479/set-a-beneficiary-everyone-does-it

Because of what I read in a comment.. most likely no one cares but I do.. although, I shouldn't.

Answering questions can make a platform different from others. If you succeed in eliminating the doubts of the users on the platform, you cannot stop the platform from succeeding.

I believe that some people may have different opinions about the questions I have asked. Because we cannot bind anyone's thinking even if they think i am joking or irritated (Honestly i am not ). Maybe they will understand me in a negative way. But I know that these questions are in the minds of many users who have been on this platform for a long time. I asked them because I don't want to keep myself in the dark.

And secondly, when I am convinced, I can guide others with confidence. And I hope to get answers to all my questions.

I have been observing your curation work and I have read your post, I will express my opinion on your post soon because I felt its important to reply to here your comments first.

Thank you dear @event-horizon , for the appreciation and support.
