Robot, a bot the word means: "work" and that is what this piece of technique does.
It can be just the "arm" to lift something in a factory, the hand that operates, the kitchen tool or the one that chats or plays for customer service, first aid, doctor or shrink.
Next to that, there are bots keeping one company like the robot cat a more modern version of a mechanic toy for toddlers or a Tamagotchi you can touch and don't need to feed (hopefully, it won't wreck the house if asleep, won't smell, annoy the neighbours and needs to be charged over 12 hours. Our high-tech stuff seems to always feel the need to be charged and eats more energy than we think).
@darthnava mentioned the sexbot which is available for men unlike women although it is said they exist.
Interesting is that is mentioned in the Monkey Business Comment Contest that god is against sex (with) bots but not if women are (ab)used, beaten up, aren't paid for the services or rubber/plastic dolls are used (and the other sex toys). I guess god is fine with that behaviour?
The question is if god and his rules still exist in the new age where we all collected enough stamps to order our personal assistant that with some luck comes with better looks than the average fridge or vacuum cleaner and without noise.
Imagine you are surrounded by an irritating buzzing 24/7 next to the noise of moving, being followed, and the non-stop chatting of a bot telling you how to live like the one @jiva34 had to deal with (it's a relief to consider we run out of energy and batteries will be harder to produce plus WEF told us we will own nothing and will be happy.
Is a bot good or bad? We can complain but we are used to it just not to the shape we see in Ms. We use them everywhere and they take over the work we hate to do, we feel too good for, find boring, lack the skills for or simply are too lazy. That's the humankind we are. We like technique if it fits us or we can brag about it but if not, or if envy shows we complain and are scared to be replaced. Replaced by the employer, our children, the partner and... wife.
Sorry, men but there are plenty of women whose highest achievement is not being the carrier of their children.
It's not that IMom will take over but that the fake wombs are already ready to breed thousands of babies per year. Babies are labelled as good enough to live on this earth and will be raised by the state.
Perhaps once we reached that state we find time to connect and invest in those few humans left.

According to my understanding... For sure sex outside of marriage is not acceptable. But still there are those who will want to do this. It doesn't mean they are not held accountable. Like intoxications. It is not a good idea. But if it is allowed and regulated then the rest of society is protected. Still those who indulge are held accountable before God. Marriage was invented later anyway at least the way we know it today.
It was only one years ago I heard that it's no longer pissible to get married in church if not married for the state first. Alsomarriage abroad doesn't count for the Dutch law unless it's registered. Kind of weird.
I agree with @jiva34 that prostitutes deal with a lot of fruitcakes, violence and more. They do protect women and men for even more cruelties as they already have to deal with. Let's hope a sex robot will accept this and not hit back.

Maybe in the West culture was not so developed at some point in the distant past, but from Vedic historical records like the Mahabharata and Ramayan dating back hundreds of thousands of years ago marriage was taken very very seriously.
